The present disclosure relates to an ion-selective electrode for an electrochemical sensor for determining a measurand representing a concentration of an analyte in a measuring medium, including a probe body made of a first material and a sensor element including a base body made of a second material different from the first material and an ion-selective layer arranged on the base body. The probe body is connected to the base body by way of a liquid-tight joint, where the joint is formed by a receptacle, serving as a first joining partner, and a joining section protruding into the receptacle, serving as a second joining partner.

An electrochemical, measuring probe, for measuring a chemical or physical, measured variable, of a measured medium, wherein the measuring probe comprises: at least one measuring half cell and at least one reference half cell, and the reference half cell includes: a housing of electrically insulating material, in which a reference electrolyte chamber containing a liquid, reference electrolyte is formed, and which has in a housing wall a diaphragm permeable for the reference electrolyte for providing electrolytic contact between the reference half cell and the measured medium; a potential indicating element extending into the reference electrolyte; and a supply opening opening into the reference electrolyte chamber for supply of reference electrolyte into the reference electrolyte chamber. The reference half cell has a check valve blocking exit of reference electrolyte from the reference electrolyte chamber through the supply opening, especially a check valve arranged at least partially within the supply opening.

Electrochemical sensor

An adapter for a potentiometric sensor having a sensor shaft, which has a reference liquid opening in its exterior surface. The adapter comprises an annular chamber member having a sensor opening for receiving the sensor shaft. Arranged in the sensor opening are first and second sealing rings for the sensor shaft. The axial position of the reference liquid opening lies between the first and second sealing rings. Formed between the sealing rings and the sensor shaft is an annular chamber, which is in communication with the reference liquid opening. The annular chamber member further includes a duct extending between the annular chamber and a reference feed opening. The adapter further includes a process connection member having a process connection opening, which surrounds the sensor shaft, and whose axis is aligned with the axis of the sensor opening. The axial position of the process connection member is fixed relative to the annular chamber member, and the process connection member is freely rotatable relative to the annular chamber member.
