An electrical connector for coaxial cable having at least one contact with a contact region for connection to a mating contact and a connection region for connection to a coaxial cable, wherein the contact includes a peripheral groove; a contact-securing sleeve can be pushed onto the contact from an end face that has at least one latching arm which latches in the groove and at least one further latching element; and a casing with at least one receiving chamber for receiving the contact with the contact-securing sleeve, wherein the latching element of the contact-securing sleeve latches with a mating latching element of the casing and the receiving chamber holds the latching arm in the latched position.

Contact securing sleeve for use with a coaxial cable

A connector assembly comprises a gear member having a pinion engageable with the rack of a complementary connector. The gear member comprises a lever arm for actuating the pinion. The gear member is latched in the fully coupled position by a resilient latching member of the connector housing. A secondary locking slide member can be shifted from a pre-locked position to a locked position such that an end portion is positioned below the resilient latching arm to prevent biasing thereof. Safe and reliable locking of the complementary connectors is thus achieved.

A connector assembly having a trough-shaped accommodating part and a plug part which can be plugged into the latter where the plug part has an essentially rectangular cross-section and in the vicinity of the two end edges, a safety rib extends in the plugging direction outward therefrom in such a way that the width the respectively opposite safety ribs is greater than the width of the basic plug part and the accommodating part has a plug channel with safety grooves for accommodating the safety ribs in the longitudinal side walls such that the plug part is receivable therein, the plug part having a surrounding housing and a socket housing that can be telescopically pushed into the surrounding housing through an insertion opening on a transverse side surface and complementary latching structure is provided on the surrounding housing and on the socket housing, for the purpose of latching the socket housing in the surrounding housing where the safety ribs are fitted to the socket housing or the surrounding housing on the side with the insertion opening.

Electrical connector assembly

An electrical connector housing fixable within an opening of a wall comprising an inner housing and an outer housing, characterized in that in response to relative movement between the housings resilient members which have passed through the opening are expanded outward preventing the housing from backing out of the wall, where the outer and inner housings may also include portions that define the receiving region wherein the mating connector halve must be received to be locked thereto that are only properly orientated when the housing is retained to the panel, thereby providing a through-wall housing that is easily inserted and affixed to a wall from one side thereof and preventing mating with the complementary connector half until the first connector half is locked to the panel.

Through-wall electrical connector housing

An electrical connector housing fixable within an opening of a wall comprising an inner housing and an outer housing, the inner housing having a terminal receiving passageway therein, characterized in that in response to relative movement between the housings resilient members which have passed through the opening are expanded outward preventing the housing from backing out of the wall, thereby providing a through-wall housing that is easily inserted and affixed to a wall from one side thereof.

Through-wall electrical connector

A panel mount connector comprises a panel mount component and a movable component. The panel mount connector can be mounted to a panel by a combined sealing and provisional mounting ring. The movable connector part comprises a terminal receiving housing and a bayonet type rotatable locking ring having a first axial position allowing mounting of a rubber boot to the housing, the locking ring retractable to a second position partially extending over the rubber boot in order to prevent it from being accidentally pulled off the housing. The connectors can then be mated together by aligning keying means of the housing with corresponding keying means of the panel connector housing, axially moving the housings together, and then rotating the bayonet type locking ring until an end position whereby the sealing ring is compressed between a flange of the locking ring and the panel for sealing therebetween.

Circular bulkhead connector assembly

An electrical connector assembly is comprised of a housing member having a slidable cover, together which is interconnectable to a header member. The header includes camming grooves positioned on inside surfaces of upstanding walls whereas the connector assembly includes locking lugs positioned on outside surfaces of the cover member. The cover member is transversely slidable relative to the housing such that moving the cover transversely can bring the connector assembly into full electrical engagement with the header assembly.
