A textile applicator for application of a sanitizing and/or disinfecting solution to a surface. The applicator incorporates a plurality of direct spun polyester microfiber yarns to define a textile surface which does not bind or inactivate quaternary ammonium compounds, chlorine-based or peracetic and/or other peroxygen based sanitizing and/or disinfecting agents. Thus, the sanitizing and/or disinfecting agent is readily released to the surface being treated without any requirement of pre-loading surface binding sites or applying a charge-modifying surface treatment.

Applicator for sanitizing and/or disinfecting solution

A wipe structure of stitch bonded construction incorporating one or more substrate layers of an absorbent material with a barrier layer across a face side of the absorbent material and a preformed lightweight loop fabric disposed across the underside of the absorbent layers with loops projecting away from the absorbent layers.

Stitch bonded cleaning material

A stitch-bonded fabric construction in which broadly spaced parallel linear stitch lines are applied through a very low weight fibrous substrate to stabilize the substrate in the machine direction. Texture is imparted by applying significant overfeed conditions to the stitching substrate thereby causing a substantial bunching of the substrate at the stitching position. The resulting product has an arrangement of alternating ridges and valleys running predominantly in the cross-machine direction. The stabilizing linear stitch lines lock in the puckered texture.

Stitch bonded creped fabric construction

A tear away diaper fastening system including a segment of loop material having a plurality of outwardly projecting loop elements adapted to engage cooperating hooking elements in juxtaposed contacting relation. The loop material includes a composite sheet of stitch bonded construction including a polymer film substrate layer. A first plurality of yarn elements extends in stitched relation through the substrate layer to define a plurality of parallel stitch lines of flat stitches extending along the machine direction of the sheet material to form a ground layer substantially covering an upper surface of the substrate layer. A second plurality of yarn elements extends in stitched relation through the substrate layer in zigzag crossing relation between parallel needle lines to define a plurality of raised loops extending above the ground layer.

Two bar stitch bonded loop fastener for diaper and related method

A diaper fastening system including at least one elastomeric connection tab disposed at a side portion of the diaper. The connection tab has a body portion of stitch-bonded construction including an elastomeric expansion zone. The elastomeric expansion zone includes an inelastic stitching substrate of fibrous material with a plurality of accordion pleats and a zigzag network of elastomeric yarns disposed in underlying relation to the pleats. The zigzag network is adapted to apply contracting forces to the stitching substrate in the length dimension of the connection tab.

Elastomeric diaper fastening tab

A foam core cleaning element of stitch-bonded construction having a multi-surface operative cleaning face. The cleaning element includes at least one fluid absorbing layer of absorptive polymeric foam. At least a first plurality of yarns extends in discontinuous patterned stitched relation through discrete selected zones of the fluid absorbing layer such that the first plurality of yarns forms a patterned array of first surface loop zones projecting outwardly away from a first side of the fluid absorbing layer in a defined patterned arrangement across the operative cleaning face of the cleaning element. A plurality of stitch-free zones of the polymeric foam define outwardly projecting convex curved surfaces at positions adjacent to the first surface loop zones across the operative cleaning face of the cleaning element.
