An off-road vehicle includes a frame coupled to one or more tractive elements, a cab supported on the frame, and a hood assembly coupled to the frame. The hood assembly includes a first hood coupled to the frame by a first hinge assembly and a second hood coupled to the frame by a second hinge assembly. The first hood is configured to pivot about the first hinge assembly independent of the second hood, and the second hood is configured to pivot about the second hinge assembly independent of the first hood.

A hood assembly for a work vehicle includes a hood and a hood pivot joint configured to pivotally couple the hood to a chassis of the work vehicle. The hood pivot joint is configured to enable the hood to rotate between an open position and a closed position. The hood assembly also includes a lift mechanism having a linkage assembly pivotally coupled to the hood and configured to pivotally couple to the chassis of the work vehicle. In addition, the lift mechanism includes a linear actuator coupled to the linkage assembly. A handle assembly for an armrest control console of a steering system of a work vehicle. The handle assembly includes a base member, a hand-receiving member, and an electro-mechanical connection located in between the base member and the hand-receiving member. The electro-mechanical connection detachably connects the hand-receiving member to the base member such that the hand-receiving member is rigidly supported by and electrically coupled with the base member. The electro-mechanical connection is located exterior to the armrest control console.

In one aspect, an aspiration system for a work vehicle includes an exhaust tube extending along a flow direction from an upstream end to a downstream end. The exhaust tube defines an exhaust passage extending from the upstream end of the exhaust tube to the downstream end of the exhaust tube. The exhaust tube includes a venturi portion. The aspiration system also includes an aspiration tube in flow communication with the venturi portion and configured to receive an aspirated airflow. The system further includes a flow adjustment mechanism provided in operative association with venturi portion such that the flow adjustment mechanism is configured to adjust a cross-sectional flow area of the venturi portion of the exhaust tube.

The first mounting arm includes a mounting portion disposed at a first end of the first mounting arm and configured to mount to a base bracket, and a first mating portion disposed at a second end of the first mounting arm, wherein the first mounting arm includes a bend disposed between the first end and the second end. The second mounting arm includes a second mating portion disposed at a first end of the second mounting arm, wherein the first mating portion and the second mating portion have substantially similar contours, and the first mating portion is configured to be coupled to the second mating portion via an adjustable slotted interface, and an interface mounting portion disposed at a second end of the second mounting arm and configured to receive an interface unit. The adjustable slotted interface is configured to selectively enable the first mounting arm and the second mounting arm to slide relative to one another between an expanded position and a contracted position.

The system may also include a pre-cleaner configured to be installed within the intake duct by inserting the pre-cleaner through the pre-cleaner slot in a direction extending generally perpendicular to the flow direction. In addition, the air intake system may include a cover configured to be coupled to the intake duct such that the cover extends over the pre-cleaner slot when the pre-cleaner is installed within the intake duct.

An air intake system includes a pre-cleaner having a plurality of tubes configured to receive a flow of air, to filter particulate material from the flow of air, and to provide the flow of air to an engine of an off-road vehicle. The system also includes a controller configured to receive a first signal indicative of an air intake flow rate of the engine, to determine a target number of open tubes for the pre-cleaner based at least in part on the air intake flow rate and a desired air flow rate for each tube of the plurality of tubes, and to output a second signal to a component of the air intake system indicative of instructions to enable the flow of air to the target number of open tubes and to block the flow of air to the remainder of tubes of the plurality of tubes.

An air intake system for a work vehicle may include a filter assembly having a pre-cleaner and an air filter. The filter assembly may define at least one outlet port. The air intake system may also include an air valve movable between an opened position and a closed position and a blower coupled to the outlet port via a conduit. The blower may be configured to create a vacuum within the conduit such that particulates are removed from the filter assembly through the outlet port. When the air valve is in the opened position, an airflow may be directed through the filter assembly in an intake direction from the pre-cleaner through the air filter and, when the air valve is in the closed position, the airflow may be directed through the air filter in a reverse direction.

In one aspect, a system for controlling an air intake system for a work vehicle may generally include a filter assembly having a pre-cleaner configured to separate particulates from air received by the filter assembly. The pre-cleaner may define a pre-cleaner outlet. The system may also include an electric aspirator in fluid communication with the pre-cleaner outlet. The electric aspirator may include a motor configured to rotate a fan so as to create a vacuum for scavenging the particulates separated from the air within the pre-cleaner. In addition, the system may include a controller communicatively coupled to the electric aspirator. The controller may be configured to vary a rotational speed of the motor based on changes in a load-based parameter of the work vehicle.
