The electricity distribution network comprises a plurality of interconnection lines for the distribution of electricity among a plurality of interconnection boxes. An electronic circuit breaker includes an input for connection to a power-supply and an output for connection to a load. Connected in circuit between the input and the output are a switch, a relay, and a limitation block, which controls the switch to cause at least partial inhibition thereof in the event of an over-current condition. Also provided is a microprocessor which is connected to the limitation block to inhibit power supply to the load.

Electronic circuit breaker

The electronic circuit breaker comprises an input for connection to a power-supply network and an output for connection to a load. Set between the input and the output are a switch and a limitation block which controls the switch to cause at least partial inhibition thereof in the event of over-current. The circuit breaker further includes a microprocessor connected to the limitation block to inhibit power supply to the load.

A power supply cut-off circuit for breaking a connection between a power rectifier and a power supply line leading to a load. The cut-off circuit is adapted to be connected between the power rectifier and the power supply line and includes a switching circuit connected to a control circuit. The control circuit is operable to sense a malfunction in the power rectifier and to use the switching circuit to disconnect the power rectifier from the power supply line. In one embodiment, the switching circuit includes a plurality of MOSFETs connected in parallel with one another and the control circuit disconnects the power rectifier from the power supply line by making the MOSFETs non-conducting when the power rectifier malfunctions and the output current of the power rectifier becomes inverted.

The DC/DC converter provides an output current which is periodically variable over time and includes a control network which generates a variable reference signal for the input current which is substantially smoothed and obtained from the difference between the output voltage and a reference voltage. The substantially smoothed reference signal causes a variation in the duty cycle of the converter in order to compensate for the variation in the output voltage resulting from a variation in the output current.
