A computer-implemented method for additive manufacturing can include receiving, by one or more computing devices, three-dimensional model data, and receiving, by the one or more computing devices, one or more inducing variables. The one or more inducing variables can include at least one of a recoater direction, recoater force, gas flow direction, and/or gas flow rate. The computer-implemented method can also comprise creating a print file as a function of the one or more inducing variables to account for the inducing variables to produce a uniform part throughout a build area or otherwise reduce part variability and outputting the print file to a printer or a data storage device.

Accounting for inducing variables in additive manufacturing

A method of binder jetting additive manufacturing for veneer applications may include, but is not limited to, loading a mixture of material into one or more feed boxes of a binder jetting additive manufacturing device, depositing a layer of the mixture of material into a working chamber of the binder jetting additive manufacturing device, applying a coating to the layer of the mixture of material, and curing the coating applied to the layer of the mixture of material to form a portion of a veneer product, actuating a working surface of the working chamber, depositing an additional layer of the mixture of material into the working chamber, applying an additional coating to the additional layer of the mixture of material, and curing the additional coating applied to the additional layer of the mixture of material to form an additional portion of the veneer product.

Binder jetting additive manufacturing for veneer applications

A method of laminated object additive manufacturing for veneer applications may include, but is not limited to, loading at least one veneer into a laminated object additive manufacturing device, feeding a first layer of the at least one veneer over a working surface of the laminated object additive manufacturing device, cutting the first layer of the at least one veneer to form a first portion of the veneer product, actuating the working surface, feeding an additional layer of the at least one veneer over the first layer of the at least one veneer, and cutting the additional layer of the at least one veneer to form an additional portion of the veneer product. The at least one veneer may be fabricated from a mixture including wood product and a binder. The first layer and/or the additional layer may be cured.

Laminated object additive manufacturing for veneer applications

A method of extrusion additive manufacturing for veneer applications may include, but is not limited to, loading material into an extruder, generating a mixture from the material, and fabricating the veneer product. Fabricating the veneer product may include depositing a first portion of the mixture on a working surface of the extruder, actuating the working surface, and depositing an additional portion of the mixture on the working surface of the extruder proximate to the first position of the mixture deposited on the working surface. Where the first portion of the mixture and the additional portion of the mixture form a first layer of the veneer product, fabricating the veneer product may include actuating a nozzle of the extruder and depositing an additional layer of the mixture on the first layer of the veneer product. The material may include wood product and a binder.

Extrusion additive manufacturing for veneer applications

A spacer for providing support to a flex board including a spacer body having, a first portion including multiple surfaces on a first side thereof and multiple surfaces on a second side opposite the first side, a second portion including multiple surfaces on a first side thereof and multiple surfaces on a second side opposite the first side, wherein the second portion is connected to the first irregular portion by a bridge having a single surface on a first side thereof and multiple surfaces on a second side opposite the first side and a set of orifices each for receiving a fastener therein, wherein at least one of the orifices is located on the first side of the first portion and at least one of the orifices is located on the first side of the second portion.
