Methods and systems are disclosed for discovery of knowledge, interest and experience of individuals indicated by measured psychophysiologic response (e.g., electroencephalograph) to sensible stimuli (e.g., images). Stimuli are selected to explore targeted topics described in various levels of detail and sub-categories organized as hierarchal trees. The degree of psychophysiologic response to stimuli associated with sub-categories of topics in the hierarchal tree guides selection of additional stimuli to systematically explore hierarchal tree nodes, levels and branches to discover the extent of knowledge, interest or experience related to the targeted topic. A system enabling these methods provides archival and search of hierarchal trees associated with topics of interest, target and non-target stimuli, stimulus dataset generation, editing and presentation, psychophysiologic data collection and processing via local and remote resources, evoked response detection, characterization and scoring, and association of indications of knowledge, interest or experience with regards to facets of the targeted topic.

Knowledge, interest and experience discovery by psychophysiologic response to external stimulation

A system and method for identifying individuals that compatibly contribute to high-performing teams is disclosed. Teams may range in size and complexity from a two-person team of roommates to many hundreds in a commercial product development team. Candidates for new or existing teams are identified by matching brainwave response of candidates to the brainwave signature of high-performing, compatible teams. The stimuli of stimulus datasets are rapidly presented to candidates and sensed by any of the five human senses. The signature of a team type is a set of brainwave response characteristics extracted from one or more high-performing, compatible exemplar teams presented with the stimulus dataset and is also distinctly different from other team types or the general population. Closeness of fit between a candidate's brainwave response and the signature of the exemplar team provides an indication of the likely compatible fit and contribution of a candidate to a high-performing team.

Brainwave compatibility

Techniques are disclosed for detecting knowledge based on brainwave response to external stimulation. A subject can be exposed to stimuli and brainwave responses indicating a p-300 signal can be detected. Further stimuli or sequences of stimuli can be selected be presented to the subject based on the category correlated with the stimuli that indicate a p-300 response.

Knowledge discovery based on brainwave response to external stimulation

The Access and Temperature Monitoring system (ATMs) checks the identity and health of persons seeking access to a facility, building, event, airport border, or controlled area. It quickly checks the person's identity by recognizing the person, for example, by facial recognition, or by reading a unique token the person has, such as a smart card. If the person seeking access is recognized, the system quickly checks the health of the person. For example, a contactless measuring of core temperature is taken and is then compared to an on-file core temperature of the individual to see if it is elevated. If elevated, a secondary check is made by a precision medical instrument and compared to the precision data on file. Networking ATMs together to an Access Control Center will further assist in identifying virus outbreaks and reduce response time to assist in saving lives.

Access and temperature monitoring system (ATMs)

This invention, which focuses on personality and aptitude matching by psychophysiologic response to stimuli, is referred to as Brain Matching. In general terms, this invention starts by selecting highly specialized skill sets and top performer group for each skill set. The various groups are analyzed though psychophysiologic stimuli testing by using basically the same testing consisting of large numbers stimuli tests in a consistent testing environment. Stimuli tests can range from hundreds to thousands of images each producing a brainwave response. Neural Networks, Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning computers look at the test results, highly specialized group by other highly specialized group to reduce the groups signature/response commonality into a template. Test subjects are then tested using the same stimuli. The subject's test results are analyzed for correlation with the various specialized expert groups.

Directed acoustic broadcast array

An optical geophone or hydrophone for detecting seismic vibrational energy comprising a laser material, which generates a lasing frequency signal, the frequency of which varies in accordance with vibrational energy incident upon the laser material, a light source occurring at an excitation frequency for providing excitation energy incident upon the laser material, so that the laser material emits light at the lasing frequency modulated by the vibrational energy and a fiber optic cable for transmitting the excitation frequency light to the laser material and receiving the frequency modulated lasing frequency for transmission to a receiver. The laser material comprises a first face and a second face, the first face being parallel to the second face. The first face is coated so that it passes substantially all of the lasing frequency light and reflects substantially all of the excitation frequency light. The second face is coated so that the second face reflects substantially all of the lasing frequency light and substantially all of the excitation frequency light. An acoustic amplifier is provided for coupling vibrational energy to the laser material, wherein the vibrational energy is incident upon a side of the laser material orthogonal or parallel to the incidence of the excitation energy.

Apparatus for microchip laser geo-sensors

This present invention provides an array formed by a continous line array of piezoelectric film with discrete points of increased sensitivity to sense and measure acoustic signals. The configuration provided by the present invention simultaneously provides the advantages and attributes of both the continuous line array and the multi-element discrete array. The line array and the multi-element array are designed to enhance or cancel specific frequency bands of signal noise and to enhance beam forming of the array. The piezoelectric array can be extended and shaped into two-dimensional and three-dimensional hydrophone arrays. The present invention comprises a continuous line array formed by a single piece of piezoelectric film with one or more points of enhanced sensitivity to alter the beam pattern or spectral sensitivity of the array. The electrical output of the entire array may be observed with one set of connectors, one positive and one negative lead.

Hybrid piezo-film continuous line and discrete element arrays

A system for collecting seismic data from geologic formations underlying water. A plurality of hydrodynamic housings are deployable in the water and are permitted to descend at a fast rate through the water until the housings contact the geologic formations. A controller engaged with each housing reconfigures the housing to enhance contact between the housing and the geologic formations and to reduce impact of ocean currents acting against the housing. A marine seismic sensor is engaged with each housing to detect seismic data and to sensor orientation. Each housing can be disconnected from the associated marine seismic sensor to facilitate retrieval of the seismic sensors to the water surface.

A system and method for coordinating the operation of multiple manned, remotely operated or autonomous marine vessels engaged in marine seismic data acquisition to direct cooperating vessels from one point to the next while minimizing deviations in the desired spatial configuration of assets, risk to vessels and seismic assets, and personnel and to obtain optimal midpoint coverage by evaluating inputs from subsystems providing positioning information for cooperating vessels, prospect coverage, vessel capabilities, environmental information, and navigation hazards.

Method and apparatus for controlling and optimizing seismic data acquisition

A system and method for generating acoustic source energy in marine seismic operations. A plurality of acoustic energy sources are integrated within seismic streamers to facilitate deployment, power distribution and signal communication. The acoustic energy sources can comprise slotted cylinders activatable with piezoelectric elements. By providing an array of lightweight, energy efficient acoustic energy sources throughout a seismic receiver array, both zero-offset and far-offset reflection data can be recorded. The acoustic energy discharge can be swept over a time interval, or steered in a selected pattern throughout the array, to significantly reduce the impulse energy released into the water. The reflected signals can be compressed back into an impulse for subsequent data processing. Bi-static reflections can be generated simultaneously with the zero-offset source-receiver locations to improve the vertical and horizontal resolution of data.

Integrated marine seismic source and method

A system for detecting source acoustic energy in seismic operations. The system is operable on land and in marine applications. On land, a piezoelectric film is positioned between a vibrator or other source baseplate and the soil. Compression of the piezoelectric film generates an electrical signal proportional to the total ground force, including force due to flexural or resonance of source components, exerted by the seismic source. In marine applications, a source displaces water to produce a pressure pulse in the water, and a piezoelectric film detects the resulting pressure pulse and the flexural movement of the source to produce an electrical signal proportional to the movement of the active component.
