An exemplary multi-line communication system presents a single on-screen user interface on a communication device. The communication device is configured to conduct communication sessions over both a first communication line associated with a first mobile directory number ('MDN') and a second communication line associated with a second MDN. Within the user interface, the multi-line communication system presents an aggregated communication history including communication records representative of communication sessions associated with both the first and the second communication lines. The multi-line communication system detects a user action with respect to a communication record within the aggregated communication history, determines that the communication session represented by the communication record is associated with the first communication line, and initiates an additional communication session over the first communication line based on the determination that the communication session is associated with the first communication line. Corresponding systems and methods are also described.

Methods and systems for managing multiple communication lines within a single on-screen user interface

An exemplary multimode communication system presents a single on-screen user interface on a communication device associated with a user. The user interface includes a contact communication pane that displays a communication history between the user and a selected contact, and a communication initiation pane that displays a first user input panel configured to allow the user to initiate a communication session of a first communication mode with the selected contact. While the communication history is displayed in the contact communication pane, the multimode communication system detects a user action with respect to the communication initiation pane and, in response, graphically replaces the first user input panel with a second user input panel configured to allow the user to initiate a communication session of a second communication mode with the selected contact. Corresponding systems and methods are also described.

Methods and systems for managing multiple modes of communication within a single on-screen user interface

An exemplary communication session management system concurrently presents a plurality of session icons within a single on-screen user interface, each session icon representative of a respective communication session and configured to visually indicate a session status of the respective communication session. The communication session management system further detects a user action performed by a user with respect to one of the plurality of session icons, modifies a communication session in response to the user action, and graphically indicates the modification of the session status of the communication session. Methods and systems for managing multiple communication sessions from a single on-screen user interface

A mobile device executes an operating system (OS) call manager and an over-the-top (OTT) calling application. The OTT calling application receives a notification for a first OTT call, and notifies the OS call manager of the first OTT call. The OS call manager assigns shared device resources of the mobile device to the first OTT call. The OTT calling application receives a notification for a second OTT call, and sends, to an OTT Telephony Application Server (TAS) without notifying the OS call manager of the second OTT call, a request to switch from the first OTT call to a second OTT call. The OTT calling app identifies the first OTT call as inactive and the second OTT call as active, and allocates the shared device resources assigned to the first OTT call to the second OTT call.

Mobile device call management with multiple over-the-top calls

A user device may provide a graphical user interface which presents content navigation objects, where each content navigation object may be associated with a content item and is presented within a portion of the graphical user interface. The user device may detect an action that corresponds to a content navigation object, and determine whether the detected action is a command to display content options that may be contextually related to the content item associated with the content navigation object. The user device may display the content options by altering the appearance of the content navigation object, receive an action selecting the content option from the displayed content options, and conceal the content options after the action for selecting the content option has been received.

A user device may detect, using a first radio associated with the user device, a presence of a location reference device; and determine a location associated with the user device. When determining the location associated with the user device, the user device is to receive location information from the location reference device, via the first, and refrain, based on detecting the presence of the location reference device, from determining the location using a second radio associated with the user device while the user device is within a communication range of the location reference device.

A method includes presenting a user interface providing access to content from multiple content providers and receiving, via the user interface, user input indicating selection criteria for recommending content. The selection criteria include an amount of time available to the user. The method includes providing, to a network device, an indication of the selection criteria and receiving, from the network device, information for providing recommended content options based on the selection criteria. The recommended content options are available from different content providers of the multiple content providers. The method includes presenting, to the user and via the interface, the recommended content options in association with the selection criteria.

A device is configured to determine a geographic location of a user device and determine, based on the geographic location of the user device, that the user device is within a threshold distance of a structure that includes a quantity of objects. The device is configured to receive, from the user device, an image of an object of the quantity of objects, and analyze, based on receiving the image of the object and based on the user device being within the threshold distance of the structure, the image to identify the object. The device is configured to receive user information associated with the user device, determine, based on the user information, object information associated with the object; and provide the object information for display on the user device.

A method includes providing identifying application information associated with a user device in a network. The application information is information associated with at least one application running on the at least one user device. The method may further include identifying data usage information associated with the user device. The data usage information includes information associated with data used by the user device. The method may also include identifying a data usage plan associated with the user device, and applying the data usage plan in the network based on the application data usage.

The registration request may be authenticated, and activation data may be generated based on the information associated with the first user device and the device data. The activation data is forwarded to the second user device to enable the second user device to access a restricted service or data.

Exemplary methods and systems for managing media content sessions are disclosed herein.
