A frame apparatus and system that provides the use of standard tractor-mounted agricultural and industrial work implements with a pickup truck or comparable flat-bed vehicle. Disclosed embodiments provide for the use of commercially available short-line front-end loaders and various effectors suitably adapted for use therewith. The system can be mounted and dismounted with implements attached, and connects to the host vehicle via a bed-mounted gooseneck hitch and frame- or bumper-mounted square hitch receiver.

System for adapting and mounting industrial and agricultural work implements to a pickup truck

An apparatus for mounting to a truck suspension system which provides reinforcement to standard leaf spring suspensions in a manner that is adjustable and flexible. It provides improved weight distribution while allowing for additional vertical travel of the suspension system during periods of extreme shock loading. The apparatus mounts to the vehicle frame at a location behind the rear axle between the rear axle and rear attachment point of the leaf spring. The apparatus is both vertically and horizontally adjustable and provides an adjustable amount of reinforcement, thus allowing the operator the match the amount of reinforcement to the load. The apparatus can be fully disengaged after installation and selectively used thereafter without requiring removal and subsequent reinstallation. In the disengaged position, the apparatus has no effect on the suspension system of the host vehicle.

Overload support apparatus for leaf spring suspension systems

The three point hitch mounting system allows a pick up truck to be fitted with a three point hitch so that the pick up truck can be used to transport and operate common agricultural and industrial implements such as mowers, plows, and tillers. In enhanced embodiments, the mounting system provides for a stand that allows the hitch to stand freely when not mounted on a truck, a lift device to allow control of the depth and height of the implement, and a power source and power takeoff ('PTO') for driving powered implements, such as a mower.

System for mounting a three point hitch to a pick up truck

Disclosed is a platen cover for a copying machine in which the bound volume copying platen is not used for sheet document copying. The cover includes a sheet document transport and handling mechanism with the cover having an independently liftable lid to provide access to the transport and handling mechanism. Substantially uniform counter-balancing of the cover, containing the transport and handling mechanism, or the lid alone, from the closed hold-down position to the raised stay-open position, is provided by a torsional helix spring positioned about the pivotal axis of the lid counterbalancing the lid, and a gas spring acting on the transport and handling mechanism through a lever arm about the same axis, counterbalancing the mechanism.

Platen cover

The utility of a document exposing system for a copying machine that has a separate exposure platen for bulky documents with a cover containing a transport mechanism, is improved by providing for the platen cover to swing up and away from the platen by being pivoted on a horizontal hinge axis that is remote the rear edge of the platen and by providing for the single sheet document feeder to pivot away from the side of the platen by turning about a vertical axis located behind the back edge of the platen. Thus, an open, unobstructed volume over and at the side of the platen is provided whereby pages of extremely large bound volumes may be copied.
