A non-transitory computer readable medium on which is stored machine-readable instructions that, when executed by at least one processor, cause the processor to determine the location in 3D space of an object of interest within the interior region of an opaque container. Hence, a user or operator is allowed to construct a three-dimensional representation of the interior region of the opaque container so as to allow viewing of objects, components and substances within the interior region. The users or operators now have the opportunity to isolate a particular object of interest within the interior region that may be a threat, such as an explosive device or other energetic component. A disrupter device is aimed at the three-dimensional location and thereafter, the disrupter device fires a projectile or substance at the object of interest in order to disable or destroy the object of interest.

Method and system for determining the location in 3D space of an object within an enclosed opaque container

A method and system for determining the location in 3D space of an object of interest within the interior region of an enclosed, opaque container. The invention allows a user or operator to construct a three-dimensional representation of the interior region of the container to allow viewing of objects, components and substances within the interior region. The users or operators now have the opportunity to isolate a particular object of interest within the interior region that may be a threat, such as an explosive device or other energetic component. A disrupter device is aimed at the three-dimensional location and thereafter, the disrupter device fires a projectile or substance at the object of interest in order to disable or destroy the object of interest.

A portable and collapsible apparatus for holding fiducial markers has a first section that includes a frame, an opposite second side, a first panel attached to the first frame and fiducial markers attached to the first panel. The apparatus includes a second section pivotably attached to the first section and a second frame, an opposite second side, a second panel member attached to the second frame and fiducial markers attached to the second panel. The apparatus is configurable to a closed state by pivoting the first section and second section toward each other where the rear sides of the first frame and second frame contact each other. The apparatus is configurable to an opened state by pivoting the first section and second section away from each other. In the opened state, the first section and second section are vertically oriented with respect to a surface.

Portable and collapsible apparatus for holding fiducial markers

A multi-tool for disrupter breech maintenance includes an elongate body having a first axial end and a second axial end. The elongate body encases a storage volume commencing at and accessible from the second axial end. An open-ended rectangular notch in a radial wall of the elongate body has a planar base. A hole extends radially through the elongate body with the hole originating in the notch's planar base and having a longitudinal axis perpendicular to the planar base. A rectangular well in the radial wall of the elongate body is provided adjacent to the rectangular notch. A first hexagonal socket is coupled to the first axial end of the elongate body. A second hexagonal socket is provided for attachment to the second axial end of the elongate body.

Multi-tool for disrupter breech maintenance

A system for extracting threats buried underground includes a housing, a shaped charge coupled to the housing at one end, and an explosive projectile disposed in the housing and spaced-apart from the shaped charge. The explosive projectile includes an open-ended pipe, a detonation line wrapped about the pipe and extending away therefrom and through the housing, an explosive material disposed about and in contact with the detonation line wrapped about the pipe. The explosive projectile also includes a first donut-shaped plate at one end of the pipe, a second donut-shaped plate at another end of the pipe, and a third donut-shaped plate coupled to and spaced-apart from the second donut-shaped plate. A flow path extends through the plates and the pipe.

Extraction system for underground threats

A modular shaped charge system including a housing including a circular opening; an attachment ring having a diameter complementary to a diameter of the opening of the housing. The attachment ring configured to snap fit into the opening of the housing. A liner including a cone shape with a base diameter complementary to the diameter of the attachment ring. The liner is configured to snap fit into the attachment ring. The apex of the liner is positioned inside the housing. An air gap cover including a cone shape with a base diameter complementary to the diameter of the attachment ring. The air gap cover is configured to thread into the attachment ring, and the apex of the air gap cover is positioned outside the housing.

Modular shaped charge system (MCS) conical device

A configurable shape charge liner includes a cone. The cone is hollow and includes a cone bottom portion, which has a cone bottom diameter. The configurable shape charge liner includes at least one circular ring section. Each of at least one circular ring section is hollow and includes a circular ring section top diameter and a circular ring section bottom diameter. The circular ring section top diameter is less than the circular ring section bottom diameter. The cone and at least one circular ring section are connectable therebetween to form different overall diameters for the configurable shape charge liner. The configurable shape charge liner includes a conical shape.

User configurable shape charge liner and housing

A modular charge system based on a standard module fitted with a flying plate or a liner and axially coupled to other modules to configure the size and type of charge. The explosive is enclosed in a casing, which has a cylindrical wall with a plurality of external longitudinal rails that run lengthwise. The rails are substantially parallel, and approximately equidistantly spaced around the perimeter of the casing. The space between a pair of rails defines a channel. The casing rails function as a cylindrical tamper. The explosive is partitioned into removable portions and permanent portions, where the removable portions are separated from the permanent portions and any retained removable portions, therein enabling the module to be fitted with a variety of flying plates, liners and other hardware. Modules may be coupled utilizing internal slides, positioned in the channels to join modules.

Modular charge system

The assemblable module charge system includes a set of quadrant panels, where an individual quadrant panel is a fractional component of a cylindrical wall having a plurality of external longitudinal parallel rails separated by channels. The fractional cylindrical wall has a sectional length with fastening side edges. The set of panels may be stored as a flat-pack and assembled into a single module. The volume of the flat-pack is less than half the volume of the assembled module. The flat-pack is a group of unassembled quadrant panels nested to minimize space. The system uses elongate slides that may be frictionally positioned in channels shared by the module and a charge system. The charge system is a prepackaged explosive that may be fastened to the assembled module.
