A manufacturing method for a carbon fiber includes the following steps. A first monomer and a second monomer are dissolved in a first solvent, and a polymerization reaction is performed to form a copolymerized polymer, in which the first monomer includes acrylonitrile, the second monomer has an unsaturated bond, the first solvent includes dimethyl sulfoxide, and based on 100 wt % of the first solvent, a content of the dimethyl sulfoxide is between 99.9 wt % and 100 wt %. A spinning step is performed on the copolymerized polymer.

The present invention relates to carbon fiber composites and a method for producing the same. By reducing specific transition metal ions with a specific concentration, the method for producing the carbon fiber composites can form nanoparticles of a transition metal on an outer surface of a titanium dioxide layer encapsulating a carbon fiber to produce the carbon fiber composites. The nanoparticles of the transition metal directionally contact the titanium dioxide layer, so that the carbon fiber composites have synergistically photocatalytic activity.

Disclosed is a method for processing a carbon fiber bundle, which can adjust bundling property, winding property and wear resistance of sizing fibers. The present invention relates to a method for producing a carbon fiber. In the method for producing the carbon fiber, a high pure acrylonitrile monomer with specific contents of impurities and a comonomer are used to produce an acrylonitrile copolymer, and the acrylonitrile copolymer is subjected to a spinning operation, a stretching operation, an oxidation treatment and a carbonization treatment in sequence, for obtaining the carbon fiber. The acrylonitrile copolymer with an appropriate falling-ball viscosity and an appropriate weight-average molecular weight is beneficial to the spinning operation, thereby reducing an inner pore diameter and enhancing strength of the resulted carbon fiber.

Carbon fiber and method of forming the same are provided. The method modifies proportion of a finishing oil to control a relation between a surface tension and a particle size of the finishing oil, and thus penetration of the finishing oil into an interior of the carbon fiber is avoided. Therefore, the carbon fiber can have both low oil residues and a high strength.
