A wall panel arrangement is adapted to be used in a wall panel system provided with at least one pair of spaced apart vertical frame members having inwardly facing sidewalls for retaining at least one existing panel therebetween. The wall panel arrangement includes an add-on wall panel assembly constructed with opposed face structure connected to opposed side structure, and adapted to cover at least a portion of the existing panel. Mounting structure is provided on the wall panel assembly, and is configured with flexible resilient retainers extending outwardly relative to the side structure, and adapted to frictionally engage the inwardly facing flat walls of the vertical frame members, and hold the wall panel assembly over the existing panel and between the vertical frame members.

A mobile furniture and accessory system for an office environment includes storage components, table or desk components, screen or partition components, paper management components, marker board components, computer support furniture and the like, for use in facilitating flexibility in manufacturing such components to user specifications and in arranging such components according to user requirements.

A desk or table assembly includes a support member such as a worksurface, and an upright member, which may be in the form of a privacy screen, adjacent an edge of the worksurface. The upright member is interconnected with the support member using a mounting arrangement including a spring to apply a constant upward biasing force on the upright member. The spring resists downward forces applied to the upright member, and assist upward forces applied to the upright member. The spring counterbalances the weight of the upright member so that the upright member is retained at a desired position when moved to the desired position thereto by either a downward or upward external force applied to the upright member.

Height adjustable vertically oriented screen or the like

A table or desk assembly () includes a base having a pair of legs (), a worksurface () supported by and between the pair of legs, and a rapid, counterbalanced height adjustment mechanism interposed between the legs and the worksurface for providing adjustment in the elevation of the worksurface. The height adjustment mechanism includes a pair of high lead rotatable threaded rods () engaged with a mating stationary threaded member () associated with each leg. A handle () is engageable with one of the threaded rods for imparting rotation to the threaded rod, and a synchronizing arrangement, such as a sprocket () and chain system (), is interconnected with the other of the threaded rods for rotating the threaded rods together. A lift assist or counterbalancing mechanism applies an upward bias, such as to the worksurface, to counteract the weight of the worksurface and any loads supported by the worksurface. The counterbalancing mechanism may be in the form of a cylinder assembly () having a biased retractable and extendible member, which is interconnected with each of the threaded rods via a cable () and pulley () arrangement. Alternatively, the lift assist or counterbalancing mechanism may be in the form of constant force spring arrangements (), each of which has an extendible and retractable member. A retainer arrangement () is interposed between the crank or handle member () and the worksurface, for preventing inadvertent rotation of the threaded rod and thereby maintaining the elevation of the worksurface.

Quick crank adjustable height table

A lectern incorporating a support member having a recess that can receive a control panel or laptop or notebook computer, for use with the by a speaker or other presenter. The support member defines an interior, and includes a keyboard tray slidably received within the interior and connectable to the monitor or computer positioned within the recess such that an individual can enter information directly from the keyboard into the device positioned within the recess. The lectern also includes a pair of sliding panels that can be used to cover or expose the device positioned within the recess. The lectern further includes a vertical adjustment mechanism for raising or lowering the height of the lectern as necessary.

A system for removably and adjustably mounting one or more items to the leg of a worktable includes vertical slot structure formed in the worktable leg and one or more bracket members mounted to the item to be mounted to the leg. Preferably, a pair of spaced slot patterns are formed in both the inner and outer surfaces of the worktable leg, and a pair of bracket members are mounted to each item which is to be mounted to the worktable leg. The brackets are removably engageable with the slot patterns, enabling the item to be moved to varying positions relative to the worktable leg. The brackets may be mounted to any number of items for securing such items to the worktable leg, such as a work surface extension, a file cabinet, a holder for a computer unit, and/or an overhead storage unit. As many items as desired can be mounted to the worktable leg in order to minimize the footprint of a work space and to efficiently arrange the items contained within the work space.

System for mounting one or more items to the leg structure of a worktable

A tilting and sliding surface for use with a table or other work surface is received within an opening or space defined by the stationary surface of the table or work surface. A combination tilting and sliding mechanism mounts the movable surface to the stationary surface. The tilting and sliding mechanism includes a fixed bracket assembly mounted to the stationary surface, and a movable bracket assembly pivotably interconnected with the fixed bracket assembly and to which the movable surface is mounted. A sliding mechanism is interposed between the movable bracket assembly and the movable surface. A tilt lock mechanism selectively clamps the movable bracket assembly to the fixed bracket assembly in a desired pivoting position according to user requirements. The sliding mechanism includes lateral guide members fitted with bearings, which are received within channel structure defined by a slide member mounted to the underside of the movable surface.
