Example techniques for pod migration across nodes of a cluster are described. In an example, in response to receiving a request to migrate a pod from a first region of a cloud computing platform to a second region of the cloud computing platform, the pod may be migrated from a first node in the first region to a second node in the second region. The first node and the second node may each be a part of a cluster of nodes.

Example techniques of cloud service categorization are described. In an example, presence of a keyword, in metadata of an item, amongst a plurality of items, is determined. Each of the items is representative of a corresponding service hosted by a cloud network in a cloud infrastructure. The metadata is indicative of functional characteristics of a service represented by the item. Based on the keyword and a predefined mapping, the item is grouped in a category, amongst a plurality of categories. The predefined mapping is indicative of a correlation between the plurality of keywords and the plurality of categories. A list of the plurality of categories may be generated, where each of the plurality of items is grouped in a respective category amongst the plurality of categories.

Cloud service categorization

An application code updating apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a processor to receive application deployment code defining an application to be deployed in a cloud-computing environment; determine, from the application deployment code, an identity of a cloud-based repository from which to retrieve the application; obtain, from a database, an authentication credential for the identified repository; generate, based on the authentication credential, an access token to provide access to the repository; and update the application deployment code to include the generated access token. A method and a machine-readable medium are also disclosed.

Updating application code

Example techniques for updating of container-based applications are described. In an example, a second version of an application code or application code changes are retrieved from a code storage location. Based on the retrieved second version or the retrieved application code changes, an application hosted in a container is updated.
