A method for wireless communication between a plurality of transmitter devices and at least one receiver device using a repeater device on the surface of the Earth. Messages transmitted by transmitter devices and received by the repeater device are collected by the repeater during a collection window. The messages received during the collection window are retransmitted to the receiver device by the repeater device. The messages received during the collection window are retransmitted so that at least two messages received non-simultaneously are retransmitted simultaneously to the receiver device.

A method for geolocating a terminal of a wireless communication system. The terminal includes a positioning device for obtaining a precise geographical position of the terminal. An access network of the communication system estimates an approximate geographical position of the terminal. In order to limit the size of the messages exchanged between the terminal and the access network, only a truncated part of the information about the precise geographical position of the terminal is transmitted by the terminal to the access network. The access network determines the precise geographical position of the terminal by combining the truncated information received from the terminal with the approximate geographical position estimated by the access network.

A method for achieving wireless communication between a transmitter and a receiver via a repeater device. The value of a first physical property of a message received from the transmitter is measured by the repeater device. The value of a second physical property to be used for the retransmission of the message is determined by the repeater device depending on the value of the first physical property measured for the received message. The message is retransmitted to the receiver by the repeater device using the determined value of the second physical property.

Method and system for geolocating a terminal in range of a transmitting device of interest

A method allowing a receiver device of a wireless communication system to receive a useful signal emitted by an emitter device. The useful signal corresponding to a signal, the phase or frequency of which is modulated by a sequence of two-state symbols corresponding to a sequence of binary data. A temporal envelope of the useful signal is detected and compared to a preset threshold value. Transitions between consecutive useful-signal symbols are detected, on the basis of the result of the comparison. A sequence of binary data is extracted from the useful signal depending on the detected transitions.
