One or more devices within a transaction services hub receive, via an internal distribution network interface, configuration settings for a network connection between merchant devices and a host device and establish, based on the configuration settings, a virtual private network (VPN) session between the one or more devices within the transaction services hub and the host device. The one or more devices receive, from a first merchant device, a first transaction authorization request originating via a voice network and receive, from second merchant transaction device, a second transaction authorization request originating via an Internet Protocol network. The one or more devices route, via the VPN session, the first and the second transaction authorization requests to the host device, collect data regarding the first and the second transaction authorization requests, and provide, via a public network connection, an interface to retrieve reports based on the collected data.

Transactional services platform

One or more devices within a transaction services hub collect session data of transaction services for multiple customers and provide a user interface with reporting options for transaction services associated with a particular customer. The user interface is accessible to a user device via a public network connection. The one or more devices receive a report request from a user account associated with the particular customer and retrieve, from the collected session data, data responsive to the report request. The one or more devices generate a report for the particular customer based on the report request and the data responsive to the report request.

Transaction services reporting system

A device may include a transaction web server. The transaction server may be configured to receive a hypertext markup language HTTP message that includes information sent from a transaction device, determine whether the message is a request to authorize a transaction or a request to settle a transaction, route a first portion of the HTTP message to a customer device to obtain an authorization from the customer device when the HTTP message is a request to authorize the transaction, and route a second portion of the HTTP message to the customer device to settle the transaction when the HTTP message is a request to settle a transaction.

Transaction services data system

One or more network devices send to a user device a user interface with options for configuring a network to provide transaction services between transaction devices and host processing devices. The user interface is accessible to the user device via a private network connection. The one or more network devices receive from the user device configuration settings for a particular host processing device. The one or more network devices store the configuration settings in a database of transaction services data for multiple host processing devices, to be accessed by another device within the network for configuring the network for the particular host processing device.

Transaction services management system

A system for processing credit card transactions is disclosed. Transaction data to be processed is sent by point of sale terminal to a terminal node connected to a sophisticated communications network. The terminal node uses routing data contained in the transaction data to establish a connection to a verification service host. The connection is established while the terminal node concurrently continues to receive and then validate the transaction data. Overall transaction processing time is reduced because the network connection needed for verification of the transaction data is established while, rather than after, transaction data is received and validated.
