The disclosure provides a glitch removal circuit with low latency. The glitch removal circuit includes a first signal edge detector, a second signal edge detector, a latch, and a control signal generator. The first signal edge detector is activated according to the first control signal to detect the rising edge of the input signal to generate the first detection result. The second signal edge detector is activated according to the second control signal to detect the falling edge of the input signal to generate the second detection result. The latch sets the generated output signal according to the first detection result, and clears the generated output signal according to the second detection result. The control signal generator shields the glitch on the input signal to generate a processed signal, and generates a first control signal and a second control signal according to the processed signal.

Glitch removal circuit

A delay circuit, a clock control circuit and a control method are disclosed. The delay circuit includes N-stage delay units coupled in a chain, the delay unit of each stage comprises the four-state gate circuit and an inverter circuit, an input terminal of a four-state gate circuit and an input terminal of an inverter circuit of each stage are coupled together, another input terminal of the inverter circuit is coupled to an output terminal of the inverter circuit of the next stage; an input signal is coupled to the input terminal of the four-state gate circuit and the inverter circuit of the first stage, and is output with a certain delay of time by sequentially passing through the four-state gate circuit and the inverter circuit of each stage.

Delay circuit, clock control circuit and control method

A method is provided for improving clock recovery signal jitter in digital communication based on a phase adjustment technique in a phase interpolation. A clock signal is expressed as the combination of two sinusoidal signals. The phase interpolating process determines the amplitude of the first sinusoidal signal, and the amplitude of the second sinusoidal signal that is 90&#xb0; out of phase from the first sinusoidal signal. The clock signal is then formed by combining first sinusoidal signal with the second sinusoidal signal by choosing the first and second amplitude such that the amplitude of the clock signal is substantially a constant. Modulation of the clock signal amplitude is significantly improved by the disclosed technique over the conventional technique when the sum of the first and second amplitudes of the two sinusoidal functions is kept a constant.

Technique to reduce clock recovery amplitude modulation in high-speed serial transceiver

A switch circuit is provided. The switch circuit may include a first transistor having a source terminal to accept an input signal, a drain terminal to provide an output signal, and a gate; a power supply providing a gate voltage. The switch circuit may also include a circuit to couple a switch signal to the gate, wherein the circuit turns the first transistor 'off' for all values of the input signal when the switch signal is 'low.' A programmable gain amplifier (PGA) is also provided. The PGA may include an input stage having an input node to couple an input signal, and an output node to provide a gate signal, at least a first gain stage including a resistor and a switch circuit as above. A differential gain amplifier may be included to provide an output signal from the gain signal.

A phase interpolator is provided. The phase interpolator comprises a plurality of reference stages, the reference stages receiving a reference signal having a predetermined phase and outputting a component signal, wherein the reference stages comprise a plurality of current source circuits, and the current source circuits comprise a plurality of transistors, and the transistors of the current source circuits are coupled to one another by the drains of the transistors.
