Framework for network bypass is disclosed herein. Exemplary network bypass apparatus may include a relay, a first connection interface connectable to a network device, a second connection interface connectable to a first communication device, and a third connection interface connectable to a second communication device. The network bypass apparatus may further include a housing enclosing the relay and the first, second and third connection interfaces, wherein the relay communicatively couples the first connection interface and the third connection interface while communicatively decoupling the first connection interface and the second connection interface in response to disconnection of power to the relay during a bypass mode.

Network bypass framework

A control system for individually controlling one or more universal serial bus (USB) ports. The control system may include at least one USB interface that provides at least one USB port, at least one power control unit in communication with the at least one USB interface, and one or more non-transitory computer-readable media for storing computer-readable program code and a configuration dataset. The control system may further include a processor device in communication with the one or more non-transitory computer-readable media, the at least one power control unit and the at least one USB interface. The processor device may be operative with the computer-readable program code to retrieve configuration data from the configuration dataset and control power supply to the at least one USB port in accordance with the configuration data by enabling or disabling the at least one power control unit.

Universal serial bus (USB) port control

Infrastructure management device(s) may monitor IT device(s) communicatively connected over a network. IT device state(s) may be determined for at least one of the IT device(s). Action(s) may be performed on one or more IT device(s), determined at least in part, by the state of the IT device(s).

Non-intrusive IT device monitoring and performing action based on IT device state

Described herein is an infrastructure management device. In accordance with one aspect, the infrastructure management device includes at least one communication interface to connect to and provide power to at least one information technology (IT) device, and communicate with at least one other infrastructure management device. The infrastructure management device may further include one or more processors and one or more non-transitory machine-readable media comprising instructions configured to cause at least one of the one or more processors to perform operations to manage the IT device.

Infrastructure management device

System including at least one processor in communication with first and second port interfaces and one or more non-transitory computer-readable media. The first port interface may include a first communication port, and the second port interface may include a second communication port. The at least one processor is operative with the computer-readable program code to perform operations including setting the first and second port interfaces to passthrough mode by connecting the first port interface with the second port interface.

Passthrough mode control

Framework for controlling passthrough mode is disclosed herein. Exemplary passthrough apparatus may include a relay, a first connection interface connectable to a first universal serial bus (USB) host device, a second connection interface connectable to a USB client device, and a third connection interface connectable to a second USB host device. The passthrough apparatus may further include a housing enclosing the relay and the first, second and third connection interfaces, wherein the relay communicatively couples the second connection interface and the third connection interface while communicatively decoupling the second connection interface and the first connection interface in response to disconnection of power to the relay during a passthrough mode.

A cloud-based communication framework. A first secure channel may be established for communication between an IT device and a cloud-computing platform. A request for a device user interface may be received over the first secure channel. A second secure channel for communication between the IT device and the cloud-computing platform may be established in response to the request for the device user interface. The device user interface may then be forwarded over the second secure channel to the cloud-computing platform.

Secure access of remote device

A communication device which includes at least four first plate communication interfaces disposed along one length of one side of the device housing is disclosed. The device also includes at least four second plate communication interfaces that are disposed along the length of the second side of the device housing. The at least four second plate communication interfaces includes at least four universal serial bus (USB) ports. At least one circuit board is disposed in the device housing and electrically connected to the first and second plate communication interfaces.

High density communications device

Described herein is a framework for secure boot process. In accordance with one aspect, in response to detecting a power signal, a first boot software component according to a boot sequence is loaded. In response to determining no event has occurred, at least one additional boot software component is successively loaded according to the boot sequence in an uninterrupted boot process. In response to determining the end of the boot sequence is reached, the operating system may then be loaded.

Secure boot process

Infrastructure management device including at least one communications interface configured to connect to at least one IT device. The infrastructure management device further includes, one or more processors, a system memory, a system bus, and at least one non-transitory tangible machine readable medium. The non-transitory tangible machine readable medium includes instructions configured to cause at least one of the one or more processors to index IT device information that identifies at least one of the at least one IT device into an IT device index, including collecting, processing and organizing the IT device information for the at least one of the at least one IT device from the infrastructure management device.

A cloud-based communication framework. A first secure channel may be established for communication between an IT device and a cloud-computing platform. A request for a device user interface may then be received over the first secure channel. The request may be initiated by a user device via the cloud-computing platform. The device user interface may be retrieved and forwarded over a second secure channel to the cloud-computing platform for communication to the user device.

A cloud-based communication framework. A client device may generate a file for an information technology (IT) device. The client device may request a password for the file. The password may be used to encrypt the file. A signature may be determined based on the encrypted file and the password. The signature and encrypted file may then be stored on a cloud-computing platform for downloading by the IT device, wherein the first signature is used by the IT device to validate authenticity of the encrypted file.

Cloud-based communication system

Infrastructure management device(s) may discover IT device(s) communicatively connected over a network. IT device information may be determined for at least one of the IT device(s). Configuration rule(s) compatible with IT device information may be matched to IT device(s). Action(s) may be performed on one or more device inventories, determined at least in part, by the configuration rule(s).

Non-intrusive device discovery and configuration cloning

A modular infrastructure management device comprises a housing and first modular slots disposed along at least the first edge of a base plate of the housing. The first modular slots are configured to removably receive at least one communication card module. The communication card module includes a first circuit board that is parallel to the base plate while the communication card module is removably inserted into at least one of the first modular slots. A second circuit board is disposed on the base plate of the housing and includes connectors for electrically coupling to the communication card module, wherein the second circuit board is parallel to the base plate.
