Processing a media file includes receiving a request for a media file from a client system and determining, using a processor, a non-chronological ordering of a plurality of segments of the media file for buffering according to historical playback data for each of the plurality of segments of the media file. A first segment of the media file is sent for buffering to the client system as specified by the non-chronological ordering of the plurality of segments. The non-chronological ordering is determined prior to sending any segment of the media file to the client system.

A computer-implemented method controls communication channels in a communication network used for an electronic meeting. One or more processors collect a set of participant data related to a set of participants of an electronic meeting. One or more processors ascertain one or more sets of predicted sub-topics of the electronic meeting and then determine, based on the set of participant data and the one or more sets of predicted sub-topics, a set of leader readiness factors that identifies participants that are best qualified to lead the electronic meeting when particular sub-topics arise during the electronic meeting. In response to detecting that the particular sub-topic has arisen during the electronic meeting, a hardware communication controller opens a communication channel on the communication network that is dedicated for use by a best qualified participant to transmit information to other participants of the electronic meeting.

At least one external reference from the message is extracted by the least one processing device. The at least one external reference is analyzed to establish a baseline state of the message. Mechanisms are provided to implement an answer change notification system. The mechanisms receive a change operation to change a portion of a user profile data structure associated with a user and identify a first entry in a question and answer (QA) log data structure, corresponding to the user, having an indicator identifying a previous answer of the first entry as being dependent upon information in the user profile data structure. The mechanisms resubmit a question of the first entry to a question and answer (QA) system to generate a new answer to the question in response to identifying the entry. The mechanisms receive the new answer from the QA system and output, to a client device associated with the user, a notification identifying the new answer to the question in response to receiving the new answer.

According to an implementation, the computer-implemented method may include defining a rules set associated with a user for participation in a multiparty communication thread. The method may also include evaluating a plurality of communications associated with the multiparty communication thread. The method may also include determining when a given communication associated with the multiparty communication thread satisfies one or more of the rules included within the rules set. The method may further include delivering the given communication based upon, at least in part, a determining that the given communication satisfies the one or more rules.

A method includes: synchronizing, by a first mobile computer device, with a remote mobile computer device; transmitting, by the first mobile computer device, a tone to a surface of an object; receiving, by the first mobile computer device, a compound resonance frequency from the object based on the transmitted tone; determining, by the first mobile computer device, the received compound resonance frequency conforms to a stored compound resonance frequency; unlocking, by the first mobile computer device, the first computer device based on the determining; and establishing, by the first mobile computer device, a group connection with the remote mobile computer device based on the unlocking.

The one or more computer processors prepare a modified image of the hashed image corresponding to the identified one or more user access permissions. Systems and methods for securing access to a mobile device are disclosed. A method includes: transmitting, by a computer device, a tone to a surface of an object; detecting, by the computer device, a frequency response from the object based on the transmitted tone; determining, by the computer device, that the detected frequency response from the surface of the object conforms to a stored frequency response; and unlocking, by the computer device, the computer device based on the determining.
