Another method includes enhancing mobility robustness of a migrating IAB-node for NR during migration from a source parent IAB-node to a target parent IAB-node by sending, by an IAB-donor-CU, a F1AP message to the migrating IAB-node, the F1AP message comprising a radio resource control re-configuration (RRCReconfiguration) message comprising a DAPS configuration information.

Methods and devices for enhancing mobility robustness to integrated access and backhaul for new radio

An encoding method and an encoder are provided to improve image compression performance. An embodiment of the encoding method determines an encoding quantization parameter, QP, and precodes a to-be-encoded block using the encoding QP to obtain encoding result information. The encoding QP is then adjusted based on the encoding result information, and then real encoding is performed on the to-be-encoded block by using an adjusted encoding QP. An embodiment of the encoder includes a bit rate control module to determine a first QP, and a precoding module to precode a to-be-encoded block using the QP to obtain precoding result information. The encoder further includes another bit rate control module to adjust the QP based on the precoding result information to obtain a second QP, and a real encoding module to encode the to-be-encoded block using the second QP.

This disclosure describes an architecture for supporting MBS sessions in a wireless access network. Each of such MBS sessions is flexibly and dynamically delivered by the access network into one or more Point-To-Point (PTP, or unicast) and Point-To-Multipoint (PTM, or multicast) delivery instances. As such, a subset of the UEs participating in the MBS may be configured to receive the MBS session in a PTP-like manner and quality. The architecture further allows for access network level switching of one or more of the UEs participating in the MBS session between the PTP mode and PTM mode. Such switching are effectuated dynamically without involvement of application layer. The resource allocations and configuration for the PTP and PTM delivery instances may be performed in the access network collaboratively between a central unit (CU) and one or more distributed units (DUs). Such collaborative resource allocation and configuration may be effectuated using a novel architecture for the signaling messages between the CU and the DUs.

This application provides example encoding methods and example encoders. One example method includes performing bit truncation on a to-be-encoded block when a bit rate control condition is satisfied. A first cost value corresponding to the bit truncation can then be calculated. The to-be-encoded block can then be predicted to determine a prediction residual of the to-be-encoded block when the bit rate control condition is satisfied. A second cost value corresponding to the prediction can then be calculated based on the prediction residual. The first cost value can then be compared with the second cost value to determine an encoded bit.

The present invention presents a panoramic image by using a combined structure of a single fisheye projector and a spherical screen in hardware, employs a geometrical relationship between a fisheye lens and the position of a viewer and isometric projection transformation, and enables 180° fisheye projection to present 720° environment information to the viewer in the center of the spherical screen, greatly simplifying the image conversion process and realizing zero distortion. According to a 720° panorama one-step generation method based on a single virtual camera in software, complex steps of collecting six images by a plurality of cameras, synthesizing a cube map and then converting the cube map into a panorama are not needed, the vertex position of a scene is directly adjusted in the process from a 3D space to a 2D image.
