The invention relates to a turbine engine comprising an air compression stage comprising at least one movable compressor wheel, an air inlet duct coupled to said air compression stage, a first sealing device, which is arranged between a front portion of the movable compressor wheel and the air inlet duct and comprising at least one seal, a channel for conveying the air compressed by the movable wheel and a second sealing device, which is arranged between a rear portion of the movable compressor wheel and the conveying channel and is configured to receive an airflow coming from the conveying channel, the turbine engine being remarkable in that the second sealing device is configured to allow some of the air passing therethrough to be bled and in that the bleed air is conveyed to the seal of the first sealing device so as to keep it under pressure.

A device and method for precise measurement of erosion of compressors, without removing an engine, and with easy positioning. A centrifugal compressor of a gas turbine with a radial air inlet includes an impeller including blades and a casing for an air stream to flow in the blades of the impeller. The casing, covered with an abradable coating, includes an annular elbow zone in a substantially median part. Marking depressions of predetermined depths, preferably in groups, are machined in the abradable coating of the zone. Examinations by endoscopy are successively performed to provide an image signal of the markers. Processing the endoscopic signal supplies a number of remaining markers and a criterion for decision on removing the engine is applied thereto. Erosion occurs in the elbow of the casing and evolution thereof may enable monitoring of erosion of other components of the compressor, in particular the blades of the impeller.

A method to prevent blockage of air passages in curvic couplings between drive parts and to prevent potential damage to the drive parts during weakening of protective elements. To this end, axial abutments are formed by ring gears of the curvic couplings. A coupling includes two rings, each ring being on the end of one drive part and engaged with the other so as to transmit to the drive part a rotation around a central axis while allowing air to pass between male and female portions of the teeth of the rings behind a bearing area. The rings are extended in an at least partially radial manner relative to each other to form an outer ring extension and an inner ring extension respectively facing elements surrounding the drive part that are mounted onto the other ring. The rotor lines can be used in turbine engines.
