The present invention relates to a radio frequency antenna () including an antenna array () operating at one wavelength and comprising:

Radiofrequency planar antenna with circular polarisation

A directional antenna network adapted to operate in at least one predetermined frequency band, which includes at least one pair of metal antennas formed by a first metal antenna and a second metal antenna, the second metal antenna being sequentially rotated by a predetermined angle of rotation relative to the first metal antenna, a load circuit, with each metal antenna connected to the load circuit, and a monopole antenna, having a central position in the antenna network, connected to the load circuit. The metal antennas and the monopole antenna are arranged on a ground plane and coupled, with the load circuit being parameterized to provide radiation, the monopole antenna having a destructive contribution of a magnetic transverse radiation mode to obtain radiation by the at least one pair of metal antennas of selected circular polarization.

A method for generating an electromagnetic wave with an antenna array, the antenna array including at least one antenna, at least one circuit having parameters having an influence on the electromagnetic wave generated by the antenna array and connected to at least one antenna, and the method comprising: selecting a criterion to be met for the wave generated by the antenna array; determining desired decomposition coefficients of a wave in a basis giving the possibility of attaining the selected criterion; and calculating the parameters having an influence on the electromagnetic wave generated by the antenna array for each circuit of the antenna array so that the difference between the decomposition coefficients on the basis of the wave generated by the antenna array and the desired decomposition coefficients be minimal.

Method for determining an antenna array

A negative impedance circuit including: a first and a second bipolar transistors having a common collector, a base of the first transistor being connected to an emitter of the second transistor; a third and a fourth bipolar transistors having a common collector, a base of the third transistor being connected with an emitter of the fourth transistor; and at least one first impedance formed of one or of a plurality of passive components coupling the common collector of the first and second transistors to the common collector of the third and fourth transistors, a base of the second transistor being coupled to the collector of the third and fourth transistors and a base of the fourth transistor being coupled to the collector of the first and second transistors.

This antenna array includes at least one primary antenna, at least one secondary antenna and at least one load coupled to a secondary antenna. The load includes two separate components, a first component being a resistor and a second component being selected from an inductor or a capacitor. The antenna array can include one or more of the following characteristic features, taken into consideration individually or in accordance with any technically possible combinations: the first component has negative resistance; the second component has negative inductance or a negative capacitance; at least one load has an adjustable impedance. The antenna array may be used in a system, such as a vehicle, a terminal, a mobile telephone, a wireless network access point, a base station, or a radio frequency excitation probe.

The invention relates to a flat screen (E) that comprises an active pixel matrix (M), an electrode that is common to said pixels (C), and a conductive strip (R) preferably in the form of a ring that is connected to said common electrode and at least partially surrounds said active matrix, characterized in that at least one slot (F) defining an antenna is formed in said conducting strip. The invention also relates to a portable apparatus that comprises: such a flat screen (E); an electronic board including a floorplan (PM) parallel to the flat screen and electrically connected to the conductive strip of the same; a means for generating and/or detecting electric radiofrequency signals; and an excitation port (P) for the slot antenna (F) installed in the flat screen, and connected to said means for generating and/or detecting electric radiofrequency signals.
