A glass furnace including an additive-containing product including an additive selected from: phosphorus compounds other than glasses and vitroceramics, tungsten compounds other than glasses and vitroceramics, molybdenum compounds other than glasses and vitroceramics, iron in the form of metal, aluminum in the form of metal, silicon in the form of metal, and their mixtures, silicon carbide, boron carbide, silicon nitride, boron nitride, glasses including elemental phosphorus and/or iron and/or tungsten and/or molybdenum, vitroceramics including elemental phosphorus and/or iron and/or tungsten and/or molybdenum, and their mixtures, and having the following chemical analysis, exclusively of the additive, as a percentage by weight on the basis of the oxides: CrO≥2%, and CrO+AlO+CaO+ZrO+MgO+FeO+SiO+TiO≥90%, and CrO+AlO+MgO≥60%, the content by weight of additive being in the range 0.01% to 6%.

Product containing chromium 3 oxide for glass furnace

A sintered material based on silicon carbide (SiC) reactively sintered between 1,100&#xb0; C. and 1,700&#xb0; C. to form a silicon nitride binder (SiN), intended in particular for fabricating an aluminum electrolysis cell, including 0.05% to 1.5% of boron, the SiN/SiC weight ratio being in the range 0.05 to 0.45. Application, in particular, to an electrolysis cell.

Sintered refractory material based on silicon carbide with a silicon nitride binder

The invention relates to a particulate powder, said powder having a median circularity of greater than 0.87 wt % and less than 9.0 wt % of particles having a size greater than 100 &#x3bc;m. The powder and at least 80 wt % of the particles have a chemical composition in wt % on the basis of the oxides and for a total of 100%: CrO+AlO+ZrO+MgO+FeO+SiO+TiO&#x2267;90%; CrO+AlO+MgO&#x2267;60%; CrO&#x2267;9%; 20%&#x2267;SiO&#x2267;0.5%; and other oxides: &#x2266;10%. The invention can be used for a glass furnace.

Chromium oxide powder

A device selected from among a glass furnace and a channel for dispensing the glass comprising a block and/or a coating made of a sintered material obtained by sintering a particular mixture comprising a chromium oxide content, indicated as 'CrT', of between 10% and 82%. The die fraction is such that 0.39&#xb7;(CrT)+24&#x3c;CrM&#x3c;0.39&#xb7;(CrT)+52, CrM denoting the chromium oxide content by weight of the die fraction in wt % on the basis of the oxides of the die, and the aggregate is such that xII&#x2267;97%, xIII&#x2267;70%, and xIV&#x2266;xIII&#x2212;70%, CrG denoting the chromium oxide content by weight of one grain in wt % on the basis of the oxides of said grain.
