A method for constructing a high-resolution merged signal from low-resolution signals acquired by an acquisition device includes acquisition of low-resolution signals (BR), measurement and/or estimation of acquisition parameters, pre-merging of the signals as a function of the low-resolution signals and of the parameters, filtering of the pre-merged signal, transmission of the filtered pre-merged signal and of the parameters, calculation of an estimate of the pre-merged signal by an inverse filtering of the filtered pre-merged signal, and determination, according to a variational method, of the high-resolution merged signal from the estimate of the pre-merged signal and of the parameters, a resolution of the merged signal is greater than a resolution of each signal.

Method for constructing a high-resolution merged signal or image from a low-resolution plurality of signals or a low-resolution plurality of images

An achromatic 3D STED measuring optical process and optical method, based on a conical diffraction effect or an effect of propagation of light in uniaxial crystals, including a cascade of at least two uniaxial or conical diffraction crystals creating, from a laser source, all of the light propagating along substantially the same optical path, from the output of an optical bank to the objective of a microscope. A spatial position of at least one luminous nano-emitter, structured object or a continuous distribution in a sample is determined. Reconstruction of the sample and its spatial and/or temporal and/or spectral properties is treated as an inverse Bayesian problem leading to the definition of an a posteriori distribution, and a posteriori relationship combining, by virtue of the Bayes law, the probabilistic formulation of a noise model, and possible priors on a distribution of light created in the sample by projection.

Optical measuring device and process

A system and method for producing formatted information related to at least one image-capture appliance and/or at least one image-restitution appliance. The system and method provide for production of formatted information related to defects of the appliance, especially blurring and noise, from a measured field. This measured field is obtained from a universal set by performing the operations: capturing or restituting the universal set by the appliance to produce an image; choosing an image zone within the image; calculating a reference image from the image; selecting, within the reference image, a reference zone homologous to the image zone; choosing a base for representing all or part of the image zones and reference zones; selecting variable characteristics of the appliance; and in this way the measured field is obtained. The system and method are applicable to photographic or video image processing, in optical devices, industrial controls, robotics, metrology, etc.

Method and system for producing formatted data related to defects of at least an appliance of a set, in particular, related to blurring

A system and a method for calculating a transformed image from a digital image and from formatted information related to defects of an appliance chain for image capture and/or restitution. The system and method provide for automatically determining the characteristic noise data from formatted information and/or from the digital image. The transformed image can therefore be corrected such that it does not exhibit any visible or annoying defects, especially defects related to noise, as regards its subsequent use. The system and method are applicable to photographic or video image processing, in optical devices, industrial controls, robotics, metrology, etc.
