An adaptor includes a tubular body having a proximal region and a distal region, the proximal region configured to engage a distal tip of a drug delivery device and the distal region being configured to be connected to a connector. The distal region has a distal end delimiting a distal opening so as to permit introduction of the connector inside the distal region. The distal end is configured to be clamped to the connector when the connector is introduced inside the tubular body. The distal end comprises a deformable element having a free end, which is configured to deform towards the proximal region when the connector is introduced inside the tubular body.

Adaptor for connecting a drug delivery device to a connector

An adaptor for connecting a drug delivery device to a connector provided with an external thread is disclosed. The adaptor includes a globally tubular body having a proximal region and a distal region, the proximal region being provided with an engagement element for mounting the adaptor on the drug delivery device. The distal region is provided on an inner wall of the distal region with an internal thread intended to cooperate with the external thread so as to connect the connector to the adaptor, the internal thread defining an internal thread crest. The internal thread crest is provided with at least one deformable radial end part configured so as to be radially deformed when the connector is screwed into the adaptor. Also disclosed is a drug delivery device including the adaptor and a method for connecting the connector to the adaptor.

An adaptor includes a tubular body having a proximal region and a distal region, the proximal region configured to engage a distal tip of a drug delivery device and the distal region being configured to be connected to a connector. The distal end is configured to be clamped to the connector when the connector is introduced inside the tubular body. The distal end includes a deformable element having a free end, which is configured to deform towards the proximal region when the connector is introduced inside the tubular body.

The invention relates to a safety assembly having&#x2014;an attachment ring attached to the tip of the container and&#x2014;a safety device covering at least the distal end of the needle, the safety device attached to the attachment ring. The attachment ring has an inner ring having an inner face provided with a snap feature, which engages a complementary snap feature on the tip of the container to prevent axial movement of the inner ring with respect to the container. The snap feature moves radially to engage the complementary snap feature on the tip of the container; and an outer ring is fixed on the inner ring, with a sleeve portion surrounding at least a portion of the inner ring to prevent radial movement of the snap feature once the snap feature has engaged the complementary snap feature on the tip of the container.

The closing system includes a cap having a skirt and a transversal wall provided with an access port, and a cover substantially parallel to the cap and with a guiding member intended to be used by a user to manipulate the cover. The invention relates to a device for injection of a product into an injection site. The device including a needle shield for protection of a needle prior to use of the device; a housing; and a deshielder for removing the needle shield from the device. The deshielder is coupled to the needle shield and mounted on the housing in a separable manner. The deshielder may include tamper evidence features that are activated by the removal of at least one part of said deshielder. At least one part of the deshielder may be configured to be removed from the housing by exerting a force equal or less to 30 N.
