Devices, systems, and methods are provided for enhanced streaming video advertisement integration. A method may include receiving, by a first device, from a second device, a request for advertisement opportunities for a streaming video title; identifying, by the first device, a first advertisement bid for a first advertisement; identifying, by the first device, a second advertisement bid for a second advertisement; sending, by the first device, in response to the request for advertisement opportunities, the first advertisement bid and the second advertisement bid to the second device; sending, by the second device, a request for advertisements to an advertisement server, including the first advertisement bid and the second advertisement bid; receiving, by the second device, a first group of advertisements for a first advertisement opportunity and a second group of advertisements for a second advertisement opportunity of the advertisement opportunities.

Enhanced streaming video advertisement integration

A data storage interface layer provides access management and transformation of data stored in various backend storage clusters. The data storage interface can serve as a point of access for data accessors to access stored data via a consistent data access protocol, even when a data storage cluster on which requested data is stored may use a different protocol. Systems, devices, and methods are provided for stable pseudonymous identifiers. A system may obtain first data, and obtain a first cryptographic key from a cryptography service. The system may determine, based at least in part on the first data and the first cryptographic key, a first hash output of a hash function. The system may determine that a mapping table does not include a first record associated with the first hash output. The system may create, in the mapping table, a first record comprising the first hash output and a random value. The system may provide the random value as a stable pseudonymous identifier of the first data. If the first cryptographic key is subject to a key rotation, the pseudonymous identifier of the first data may remain constant even though the value of the key changes as a result of the key rotation.

Supplemental content can be determined through a server-side process, wherein a primary content provider can obtain the supplemental content from a supplemental content provider before any of the content is sent to the client device initially requesting the primary content. A primary content provider submits a request that can include an authorization token for the primary content provider, a publisher token including a proxy identifier for the user, application, or client device, and other relevant information. The supplemental content provider can verify the information and select targeted content based on the information. The supplemental content can then be provided to the primary content provider for incorporation with the primary content. The primary content provider can adjust the layout or selection before sending to the client device for display.

Server-side content management

A data storage interface provides access to data storage clusters that may not otherwise be accessible to data accessors. The data storage interface can serve as a point of access for data accessors to access stored data via a consistent data access protocol, even when a data storage cluster on which requested data is stored may use a different protocol. The data storage interface can also provide access across network boundaries, such as those between different private cloud computing systems (e.g., virtual private clouds or 'VPCs').

Techniques are provided for real-time server testing in a production environment. Unlike traditional testing frameworks, embodiments of the present invention enable a server in production to be tested using live messages received from users. This eliminates the need to design and write test scripts to cover various scenarios and enables the server to be tested under live conditions. A test controller executing on the server under test can receive message attributes from a test client that define the types of messages to be used for a particular test. The test controller can identify live messages as they are received by the server that match the message attributes. The messages can be processed by the server in real time and then tested according to message tests received from the test client.

Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for optimization of ad request fulfillment for mobile device applications. In one embodiment, a system may receive an ad request from a mobile device, and determine a first price point associated with a publisher of the ad request. The system may send a bid request to ad servers, receive a first bid with a first bid amount, and may determine that the first bid amount is a highest bid amount. The system may determine that the first price point is less than the first bid amount, and may send the first bid amount and the first price point to the mobile device, where the mobile device is configured to send the first bid amount and the first price point to a publisher ad server, and the publisher ad server is configured to determine that the first bid amount is a winning bid amount.

Optimization of ad request fulfillment for mobile device applications

Disclosed are various embodiments for decoding an audio signal to identify information encoded in a human-imperceptible portion of the audio signal. A client device may capture an audio signal broadcast wirelessly from a transmitting device. A human-imperceptible portion of the audio signal may be decoded to access at least one unique identifier encoded within the audio signal. A request for at least one notification may be sent to a notification service over a network, where the request includes the at least one unique identifier and data associated with the client device. The remote service provides the client device with a notification to render in a display.

Audio-triggered notifications for mobile devices

Certain embodiments herein relate to targeting ads for purchase by leveraging relationships between advertisers and publishers. Ad campaigns may be established between an ad device associated with an advertiser and publisher devices associated with publishers. An ad campaign for displaying an ad may be determined based on information associated with a communication session from a user device (e.g., as identified in a cookie) and/or information associated with a user utilizing the user device. An ad device may activate one or more established ad campaigns as part of an auction process, and may subsequently provide one or more ads for displaying on a web page according to attributes that may characterize the ad campaigns.

Targeted ad buys via managed relationships

Disclosed are various embodiments for providing a plurality of notifications to mobile devices. A broadcast is rendered by a device that is detected by a mobile device. Software on the mobile device decodes the broadcast to obtain an identification number associated with a notification. The mobile device requests a notification based at least on the identification number. A notification is sent to the mobile device if certain requirements associated with the notification are met. The notification may then be rendered on a display of the mobile device.
