A vehicle control system for optimizing the energy consumption of a vehicle over the vehicle lifetime. The vehicle control system includes: a rechargeable electric battery; a mechanical component; and a processing circuitry configured to cause the vehicle control system to: determine a battery wear value of the rechargeable electric battery; determine a mechanical component wear value of the mechanical component; and determine a target temperature value of the rechargeable electric battery based on the battery wear value and the mechanical component wear value.

Vehicle control system for optimizing energy consumption

A power supply system for an electric vehicle drivetrain includes series connected first and second high-voltage battery units, a circuit arrangement having high-power switching semiconductor devices connected to the battery units, and an electronic control system. During a charging mode, the control system controls the semiconductor devices to route high-voltage DC from a vehicle external charging source alternatingly to the battery units. During a power supply mode, the control system controls the operation of the semiconductor devices to supply high-voltage DC from both the battery units for driving a vehicle electrical traction machine of the electric vehicle drivetrain, wherein the supplied high-voltage DC has a voltage level corresponding to an accumulated voltage level of the series connected battery units.

Power supply system capable of switching between a charging mode and a power supply mode for an electric vehicle drivetrain

A vehicle power supply system provides redundant high-voltage and low-voltage power supply for an electric vehicle or a hybrid-electric vehicle. The power supply system includes first and second high-voltage battery units. A positive terminal of the first unit is connected to a positive power distribution arrangement and a positive terminal of the second unit is connected to a negative terminal of the first high-voltage battery unit via an intermediate power distribution arrangement, and a negative terminal of the second unit is connected to a negative power distribution arrangement. The system has a first bypass line connecting the positive power distribution arrangement with the intermediate power distribution arrangement, and a second bypass line connecting the negative power distribution arrangement with the intermediate power distribution arrangement.

Vehicle power supply system

A vehicle door positioning holder includes a hydraulic cylinder connected to the door and a vehicle chassis, and a brake hydraulically connected in a loop. The cylinder pushes hydraulic fluid in the loop when the door is moved. The brake includes first and second chambers hydraulically connected to the loop and a third chamber connected in the loop at respective ends to the first and second chambers. The brake has a ball element in the third chamber when the hydraulic fluid is still, moved towards the first chamber as the hydraulic fluid flows in a first direction, and moved towards the second chamber as the hydraulic fluid flows in a second direction. A flow resistance of the hydraulic fluid is larger when the ball is positioned in the third chamber than when the ball is moved towards the first or the second chambers.

Vehicle door positioning holder

A cable includes a first conductor and a first conductor isolation, wherein the first conductor includes at least a first break point between the first and second end of the cable and the first conductor isolation includes at least a second break point between the first and second end of the cable, the cable is configured so that the first conductor breaks at the at least first break point if the cable is exposed to a force that is above a first predetermined limit and first conductor isolation breaks at the at least second break point if the cable is exposed to a force that is above a second predetermined limit for avoiding hazardous electric shock after a crash of the vehicle.

A wheel suspension arrangement including a suspension spring, at least one control member arranged to control a stiffness of said suspension spring. The control member is displaceable relative to said suspension spring between a retracted position, in which the control member does not interfere with an operation of the suspension spring, and an advanced position, in which it interferes with the operation of the suspension spring in a way that the stiffness of said suspension spring is increased. The wheel suspension arrangement further includes a biasing means configured to bias said control member towards said retracted position.

An electrical battery system for a vehicle includes a first battery pack and a second battery pack. The first battery pack has a larger total nominal energy capacity than the second battery pack. The first battery pack includes an array of a first type of battery cells and the second battery pack includes an array of a second type of battery cells. The second type of battery cells withstands a larger maximal 30-seconds discharge pulse current than the first type of battery cells. The first type of battery cells have a higher nominal energy capacity per unit volume than the second type of battery cells, and the battery cells of the second battery pack are better thermally insulated than the battery cells of the first battery pack. Additionally, a vehicle drive train includes such an electrical battery system or a vehicle includes such an electrical battery system.

Electrical battery system

A high voltage electrical connector for electric current connections in vehicles includes a first connector unit and a complementary second connector unit releasably connectable with the first connector unit. A primary locking member is arranged in the first connector unit, and a stationary locking part is arranged in the second connector unit, where the primary locking member is electromagnetically movable between a locked position and an unlocked position. In the locked position, the primary locking member is in locking engagement with the stationary locking part preventing the first connector unit and the second connector unit from being released from each other, and in the unlocked position the primary locking member is disengaged from the stationary locking part allowing the first connector unit and the second connector unit from being released from each other.

High voltage electrical connector

A method and security system for preventing misuse of sensitive information entered by an authorized person, including an input interface; a camera a memory configured to store information; a processing circuitry connected to the input interface, the camera and the memory configured to cause security system to activate a first input session wherein the input interface is adapted to receive input of sensitive information by a first person in an operational vicinity of the input interface; detect, by the camera unit, a second face of a second person at a second distance from the input interface; and store a first security association data comprising information regarding the first input session and information about the second person in the memory for preventing misuse of sensitive information.
