An electro-hydraulic flow control system for controlling the movement of a cutting implement of a turf mower. The flow control system comprises a hydraulic system for raising and lowering the cutting implement. The hydraulic system comprises a hydraulic fluid, a hydraulic actuator, and a hydraulic pump. The control system additionally comprises an electromechanical fluid flow control system for controlling a flow of the hydraulic fluid through the hydraulic system. The electromechanical fluid control system comprises a routing valve, a float valve, a weight transfer valve, a weight transfer pressure adjustment (WTPA) valve, and a control module for control operation of the routing valve, the float valve, the weight transfer valve, and the WTPA valve to control operation of the actuator and thereby control movement of the cutting implement.

Turf mower hydraulic lift control system and method

A vehicle radiator air intake screen maintenance system comprising a radiator fan, a fan motor; and a processor operable to control the rotational speed and direction of the radiator fan to: periodically implement a drop cycle whereby a radiator cooling air flow generated by the fan rotating in a forward direction is slowed such debris collected on a radiator air intake screen of the vehicle is caused to fall off due to gravitational force; and periodically implement a full reverse cycle where a rotational direction of the fan is reversed and an expulsion air flow is generated whereby debris collected on vehicle radiator and the air intake screen will be blown off, whereafter reverse rotation of the fan is stopped and the fan is returned to the full forward operating speed and direction.

Vehicle air intake screen maintenance systems and methods

The present disclosure provides a motor connection system and method for mounting and removing a motor to and from a reel assembly frame of a turf-care vehicle without the use of tools. In various embodiments, the system includes a plurality of shoulder bolts longitudinally extending from a mounting end of the motor and a bearing housing that is mountable to a reel assembly frame of a turf-care vehicle. The bearing housing includes a plurality of self-tightening keyhole slots structured and operable to receive a respective one of the shoulder bolts. Each keyhole slot comprises a interior bezel that is interoperable with the respective shoulder bolt such that rotation of the motor to a Home position will structurally hold and secure the motor to the bearing housing.
