A replacement compressor outlet housing includes a compressor outlet housing, having a volute and a radially inwardly extending finger extending from a radially inner end of the volute. The radially inwardly extending finger is welded to an insert. The insert has a bearing support defining a bore. The insert has a web connecting a ledge to the bearing support. The radially inwardly extending finger welded to the ledge.

Method of repair to compressor housing and repaired housing

A method of repairing a compressor outlet housing includes the steps of obtaining a damaged compressor outlet housing having a radially outer volute, a radially inwardly extending finger extending to an axially extending ledge, a radially inwardly extending web extending radially inwardly from the ledge, and a radially inner bearing support defining a bore. The method identifies a damaged section within at least one of the bearing support, the web, and the ledge, and removes at least the bearing support and the web to leave a remaining part. The method then inserts an insert having at least a replacement bearing support and a replacement web into the remaining part after the removal step. The method then welds the insert to the remaining part to provide a repaired compressor housing. A method of replacing a compressor outlet housing and a replacement compressor outlet housing are also disclosed.

A scroll compressor is provided and includes a motor housing having a support surface, a fixed scroll fixedly disposable on the motor housing, an orbiting scroll which is operably disposable for fluid-compressive orbital movement relative to the fixed scroll and a removable hydropad removably disposable on the support surface between the orbiting scroll and the support surface.

A terminal assembly has a terminal box including a divider extending in a front-to-rear direction of the terminal box and dividing the terminal box into a first chamber and a second chamber, the first chamber being larger than the second chamber and a terminal block mounted in the first chamber configured to have a plurality of contacts mounted onto the terminal block.

A vertical shaft pumping system includes a hollow shaft with an inner bore, an inlet end and an outlet end, the outlet end with at least one liquid distribution hole. It further includes an impeller positioned at the lower inlet end of the shaft, with a cylindrical base portion with a lower end, a central hole for drawing fluid into the shaft, and a plurality of teeth extending upwards from the cylindrical base portion and extending radially from the central hole to the outer cylindrical circumference for increasing tractive force of liquid in the shaft when the impeller and shaft are rotating; and a motor for rotating the shaft with the impeller to centrifugally pump a liquid vertically in the shaft from the lower inlet end to the upper outlet end.
