A process for the purification of an aqueous stream coming from the Fischer-Tropsch reaction using distillation and/or stripping treatment, a treatment with at least one inorganic base and a treatment with at least one organic base. This process allows at least a part of the aqueous stream coming from the Fischer-Tropsch reaction to be used as process water in the synthesis gas production plant, subsequently sent to the Fischer-Tropsch plant for the production of hydrocarbons.

Process for the purification of an aqueous stream coming from the Fischer-Tropsch reaction which comprises feeding said aqueous stream to one or more pervaporation units obtaining an aqueous stream enriched in oxygenated organic compounds (retentate side) and an aqueous stream enriched in water (permeate side), feeding said aqueous stream enriched in oxygenated organic compounds to a saturator obtaining a gaseous stream leaving the saturator, feeding said gaseous stream to a synthesis gas production plant. Said process allows at least a part of the aqueous stream coming from the Fischer-Tropsch reaction to be used as process water in a synthesis gas production plant, subsequently sent to a Fischer-Tropsch plant for the production of hydrocarbons.

Process for the purification of an aqueous stream coming from the Fischer-Tropsch reaction comprising a treatment with at least one inorganic base, an evaporation treatment, a distillation and/or stripping treatment and a treatment with at least one organic base. The process allows at least a part of the aqueous stream coming from the Fischer-Tropsch reaction to be used as process water in the production plant of synthesis gas subsequently sent to a Fischer-Tropsch plant for the production of hydrocarbons.

The present invention relates to a process for the purification of an aqueous stream coming from the Fischer-Tropsch reaction which comprises: feeding the aqueous stream containing organic by products of the reaction to a fractionating distillation column or to a stripping column; &#x2014;condensation of the vaporized stream leaving the head of the column and the removal of a distillate enriched in the heaviest by-products; &#x2014;feeding the partially purified aqueous stream leaving the bottom of the distillation column, at the head to one or more sensible contact exchangers; &#x2014;sending a process gas in countercurrent to the tail of the exchanger at a temperature lower than that of the aqueous stream; &#x2014;sending the process gas enriched in water and part of the residual organic product leaving the head of the exchanger to the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis plant of hydrocarbons; &#x2014;sending the purified colder water leaving the exchanger directly to further treatment.
