A vapor generation device and an infrared emitter is provided. The vapor generation device includes a housing, where the housing is internally provided with: a cavity, configured to receive an inhalable material; an infrared emitter, including an infrared emission material, where the infrared emission material is configured to heat the inhalable material by radiating an infrared ray; a temperature sensing material, formed on the infrared emitter and insulated from the infrared emission material, where the temperature sensing material has a positive or negative resistance-temperature coefficient; and a circuit, configured to obtain a resistance value of the temperature sensing material and determine a temperature of the infrared emitter from the resistance value. The temperature of the infrared emitter can be determined by printing or depositing a temperature sensing material with a temperature sensor function on the infrared emitter itself and detecting the resistance of the temperature sensing material.

Provided is an aerosol generation device, the aerosol generation device comprising a chamber for receiving at least some of a smokable material; a magnetic field generator configured to generate a varying magnetic field; a susceptor configured to be penetrated by the varying magnetic field so as to generate heat, thereby heating the at least some smokable material received in the chamber; and a circuit configured to determine the temperature of the susceptor by acquiring a resistance value of the at least some of the material on the susceptor and on the basis of the resistance value. According to the aerosol generation device of the present application, the temperature of the susceptor is determined by measuring the resistance of the susceptor, and compared with a temperature measuring mode using a temperature sensor, production and preparation are more convenient and rapider, and the temperature measuring effect is more accurate.

The power control method is used for controlling an output power of a power device to a heating element, and the method includes: determining a target power; setting an intermediate power according to the target power, the intermediate power being less than the target power; controlling the power device to output a power to the heating element, and enabling the output power of the power device to directly reach the intermediate power at a first stage; adjusting the output power of the power device to gradually reach the target power at a second stage, a duration of the first stage being less than a duration of the second stage; and controlling the power device to constantly output the target power to the heating element at a third stage.
