A window assembly for a vehicle includes a fixed frame having a pair of opposite side frame members, an upper frame member and a lower frame member. A fixed window panel is disposed at a lower portion of the side frame members and at the lower frame member. A movable window panel is movable relative to the fixed window panel and the frame between an opened position and a closed position. Each of the side frame members includes a lower channel for receiving a side perimeter edge region of the fixed window panel and an end region of the lower frame member. An elastomeric seal is overmolded along the lower channel of the side frame member and is configured to receive and seal against (i) the side perimeter edge region of the fixed window panel and (ii) the end region of the lower frame member.

Window assembly for vehicle

A method for making a slider window assembly for a vehicle includes providing at least one fixed window panel and a movable window panel. A perimeter seal is disposed at least at a surface of the fixed window panel and includes a continuous sealing element that circumscribes an opening of the fixed window panel and that is configured to seal against the movable window panel about a periphery of the movable window panel when the movable window panel is closed. The perimeter seal includes a sealing tab at a corner region of the perimeter seal where an upper sealing portion is joined with a first elongated side sealing portion. The sealing tab is established at an elongated sealing lip of the upper sealing portion or of the first elongated side sealing portion. The sealing tab extends from the elongated sealing lip toward the surface of the fixed window panel.

Sealing system for movable window of rear window assembly

A slider window assembly for a vehicle includes at least one fixed window panel and a movable window panel. A perimeter seal is disposed at a surface of the fixed window panel and includes a continuous sealing element that circumscribes an opening of the fixed window panel and that is configured to substantially seal against a surface of the movable window panel about a periphery of the movable window panel when the movable window panel is closed. The perimeter seal includes a sealing tab at a corner region of the perimeter seal where an upper sealing portion engages a first elongated side sealing portion. The sealing tab is joined with an elongated sealing lip of the upper sealing portion or the first elongated side sealing portion. The sealing tab extends from the elongated sealing lip toward the surface of the at least one fixed window panel.

A sunroof assembly for a vehicle includes first and second side rails adhesively attached at an in-cabin surface of a vehicle glass roof, which has an aperture formed therethrough and between the side rails. A movable glass sunroof panel is movable along the side rails between a closed position and an opened position. When the movable panel is in its closed position, the movable panel is disposed at the aperture and has its upper surface generally co-planar with the upper surface of the vehicle glass roof. When the movable panel is moved from its closed position towards its opened position, the movable panel moves downward and rearward along the side rails and along and below a portion of the vehicle glass roof.

Sunroof window assembly for vehicle

An article attachment system for a vehicle includes an elongated rail attached to the interior of the vehicle. The rail has a partially enclosed space with at least one slide interface and a series of projections. A bracket engages the rail for mounting at least one article to the rail. A positioning device engages the bracket and has at least one extension movable between an engaged position for securing the article to the rail and a released position for moving the article relative to the rail.

Article attachment system

A combined storage compartment and container holder for a motor vehicle. The storage compartment and container holder is of a substantially rectangular box-like configuration which is divided into two sections. A storage compartment depends from an edge member about the first section and a pair of container holders are mounted in the second section. The combined unit can be concealed within an armrest until needed at which time it can be extended out of the armrest to expose the container holder and on further extension a storage compartment. The container holders are stored in a vertical facing position and are guided to a horizontal use position by pairs of spaced pins on opposite outer edges of each cup-like holder which traverse guide slots formed in a pair of spaced vertical walls.
