A method of making a formulation may include a step of forming a mixture comprising: a hydrotrope, a surfactant, a water-immiscible solvent, an isocyanate monomer, a salt, fosthiazate and water. Further, a step of adding an amine to the mixture to polymerizing the isocyanate monomer may be performed.

Embodiments of the present invention relate to solvents for pesticides and pesticide formulations. In one aspect, a solvent for pesticides comprises (a) an ether ester of Formula 1: wherein Rand Rare each independently one of an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or an aryl group, wherein Ris hydrogen, methyl, or ethyl, and wherein n is 1 to 6; and (b) a polar amide of Formula 2:R&#x2014;C(O)&#x2014;NRR&#x2003;&#x2003;(Formula 2)wherein Ris an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and wherein Rand Rare each independently an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms.

Solvents for agricultural applications and pesticide formulations

Embodiments of the present invention relate to solvents for agricultural applications and pesticide formulations. In one aspect, a solvent for agricultural applications comprises (a) a first component consisting of a polar solvent wherein the polar solvent is a sulfoxide, N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone, &#x3b3;-butyrolactone, or a combination thereof; (b) a second component consisting of a glycol ether, and (c) a third component consisting of an ether ester of Formula 1: wherein Rand Rare each independently one of an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or an aryl group, wherein Ris hydrogen, methyl, or ethyl, and wherein n is 1 to 6.

An organic/oil mixture used in an emulsion to form micro-capsules of the present disclosure. The organic/oil mixture includes abamectin; a non-polar solvent having a polarity (P) value of a Hansen solubility parameter of 0 to 3; a polar solvent of Formula (I): where Ris a C1 to C15 alkyl; Ris either H or a C1 to C8 alkyl; Ris a C1 to C15 alkylene; and Ris a C1 to C15 alkyl, where a sum of carbons in the R, R, Ralkyls and Ralkylene is 8 to 30; and 2.5 to 20 wt. % of an isocyanate, where each wt. % is based on the total weight of the organic/oil mixture and the sum of the wt. % of the abamectin, the non-polar solvent, the polar solvent and the isocyanate totals 100 wt. %.

The present disclosure relates generally to insecticide formulations. The present disclosure relates more particularly to aqueous pymetrozine formulations that can be provided in concentrate form and methods for making them. In one aspect, the disclosure provides a composition including pymetrozine in particulate form; a first polymeric dispersing agent, the first polymeric dispersing agent being a copolymer of (a) a maleic acid monomer and (b) a hydrophobic monomer; and a second polymeric dispersing agent, the second polymeric dispersing agent being a copolymer of (a) a (meth)acrylic acid monomer, an ethylenically unsaturated dicarboxylic acid monomer or a combination thereof, (b) a (meth)acrylamido alkyl or aryl sulfonate monomer; and (c) a third monomer selected from one or more of vinylic compounds, (meth)acrylic esters, vinyl acetate, and substituted (meth)acrylamides.

Pymetrozine suspension concentrates and its preparation method

A composition is described containing a branched nonionic surfactant of Formula (I): (I) wherein x is a real number from 1 to 11, y is a real number from 1 to 20, R 1 is an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms, R 2 is an alkyl group having 4 to 6 carbon atoms, and a primary 5 alcohol ethoxylate.
