Embodiments of the present disclosure provide methods, apparatus and computer program products for transmitting and receiving an uplink signal on physical control channel. A method comprises: determining that a terminal device has a capability of transmitting the uplink signal on physical control channel in at least a first time instant and a second time instant coherently; performing a first transmission of the uplink signal on physical control channel in the first time instant in a first set of subcarriers; and performing a second transmission of the uplink signal on physical control channel in the second time instant in a second set of subcarriers.

Method and apparatus for PUCCH coverage enhancement

According to some embodiments, a method performed by a wireless device for transmitting multiple layers of an uplink physical channel comprises transmitting to a network node an indication of a capability to operate according to a first mode of operation and a second mode of operation. In the first mode a codebook subset comprises precoding matrices with at most one non-zero elements per column, and in the second mode the codebook subset comprises precoding matrices with at most two non-zero elements per column. The codebook subset is in a codebook for use when transform precoding of a physical channel is disabled. The method further comprises receiving a configuration from the network node for a selected mode of operation, and transmitting the physical channel using transform precoding and, at least when transmitting with two layers, using the codebook subset comprising the precoding matrices of the selected mode.

DFT-S-OFDM multiple layer and subband transmission

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method for multiple input multiple output (MIMO) communications. For example, scheduling information is received at a terminal device from a network device, the scheduling information at least indicates physical resource blocks shared by a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) of the terminal device and a further DMRS of at least one further terminal device, and different sub-carriers allocated to the DMRS and the further DMRS in each of physical resource blocks, and the number of physical resource blocks is indivisible by a total number of the terminal device and the at least one further terminal device. The DMRS is generated, and a length of the DMRS is determined based on the number of physical resource blocks and the number of at least one further terminal device. The DMRS is transmitted to the network device on the sub-carriers allocated to the DMRS in the physical resource blocks. A corresponding method implemented at a network device such as a base station, and a terminal device and network device capable of implementing the above methods are also disclosed.
