Methods, devices and a machine-readable storage medium for denoising a Computed Tomography (CT) image are provided. In one aspect, a method of denoising a CT image includes: generating an original CT image according to raw data which is obtained by scanning a subject, where a pixel count of the original CT image is greater than a preset target pixel count; obtaining a denoised image by denoising the original CT image; and obtaining a target image as a CT image of the subject by compressing the denoised image to the preset target pixel count based on an interpolation algorithm.

A method and a device for processing metal artifacts in a CT image are provided. In an example, the method includes: a first image is obtained before a metal probe is intervened; second raw data and a second image corresponding to the second raw data are obtained after the metal probe is intervened; a third image of a metal region in the second image is obtained; channels corresponding to the metal region are determined; CT values of the metal region in the second image are set to a preset value to obtain a model image and model raw data corresponding to the model image; data at the channels in the second raw data is replaced with data at the channels in the model raw data to obtain a replaced second raw data; and based on the replaced second raw data and the third image, a target image is obtained.

Processing metal artifacts in CT image

A method of selecting a slice configuration of a medical imaging apparatus is provided. The method includes: picking out two or more candidate slice configurations from available slice configurations of the medical imaging apparatus; determining a scan dose corresponding to each of the two or more candidate slice configurations; and selecting a candidate slice configuration corresponding to a minimum scan dose as a target slice configuration, where the target slice configuration is used for a current scan protocol.

A method for optimizing CT scanning parameter is disclosed. A target group may be generated from a plurality of reference information samples. Each of the reference information samples may include subject information, information indicating a scanning protocol, one or more scanning parameter values and information indicating reconstructed image quality; the target group can consist of one or more reference information samples with the same subject information and the same scanning protocol. A scanning parameter optimization may be performed according to reconstructed image qualities and scanning parameter values of reference information samples in the target group, so as to acquire a target scanning parameter value of the target group. And according to the target scanning parameter value, a reference X-ray irradiation dose corresponding to the scanning protocol and the subject information of the target group may be determined.

Optimizing CT scanning parameter

Methods of reconstructing a CT image and CT devices are provided in examples of the present disclosure. In one aspect, scanning parameters for a CT device is obtained to perform a scan on a subject, a target reference detector is determined from the reference detectors according to the scanning parameters; the scan is performed on the subject according to the scanning parameters to obtain detection data outputted by the detector and reference detection data outputted by the target reference detector; energy data of the original X-rays emitted by the bulb tube with the scanning parameters is determined according to the reference detection data outputted by the target reference detector; the detection data outputted by the detector is corrected based on the energy data of the original X-rays to obtain scanning data; and the CT image of the subject is reconstructed by performing image reconstruction based on the scanning data.

A method and apparatus for selecting high and low energy scanning voltages for a dual energy CT scanner are provided. The method may comprise: setting a criterion of selection for selecting high and low energy scanning voltages; generating combinations of high and low energy scanning voltages according to all scanning voltages supported by a dual energy CT scanner, wherein each of the combinations may comprise a high energy scanning voltage and a low energy scanning voltage; and selecting a combination of high and low energy scanning voltages from the generated combinations of high and low energy scanning voltages based on the criterion of selection.

Selecting scanning voltages for dual energy CT scanning

A method for correcting a CT scan image is provided. A target image including a target region to be corrected is extracted from an original CT scan image. A target projection range corresponding to the target region is obtained by orthographically projecting the target image, and target projection data within the target projection range is corrected. Noise of the corrected target projection data is adjusted to generate noise-adjusted target projection data to improve noise consistency between target region and the rest of the CT scan image. A corrected CT scan image is reconstructed based on the noise-adjusted target projection data.

Processing metal artifact in CT image

A method for modulating x-ray radiation dose in CT scan is disclosed. The method may include: acquiring x-ray attenuation information of each Z position within a planned scanning sequence for a scan region of a subject from data of a finished scanning sequence for the subject; and then, based on the acquired x-ray attenuation information, performing dose modulation with respect to the XY scanning profile at each Z position within the planned scanning sequence. The finished scanning sequence can be an axial and/or helical scanning sequence for a scan region wholly or partially same as the scan region and has been performed earlier. The Z position may include a position in Z direction extending from head to foot of the subject or conversely. The XY scanning profile may include a scanning profile of the subject which is vertical to Z direction.

Modulating X-ray radiation dose in CT scan

A method and a device for dose modulated X-ray scanning, where, according to an example of the method, a theoretical X-ray scanning dose for a scanning region may be calculated according to a target image quality standard set for the scanning region and a reference data level determined for the scanning region. Then, an X-ray attenuation difference between each data level corresponding to the scanning region and the reference data level may be calculated according to the theoretical X-ray scanning dose. In this way, a data level where the X-ray attenuation difference with the reference data level is higher than a threshold may be selected out from the data levels corresponding to the scanning region as a target to be de-noised, and a noise reduction may be performed for the target to be de-noised.

Dose modulated X-ray scanning

A scanning method and device are provided. The method includes: determining values for a first scanning dosage and a second scanning dosage used in a scanning process based on a trigger condition which varies regularly and attenuation fluctuations of an object to be scanned, wherein the first scanning dosage is higher than the second scanning dosage, and at least one of the first scanning dosage and the second scanning dosage has an inconstant value; and scanning a target position with the determined values. In the present disclosure, a scanning dosage may be reduced and different image noises may be kept consistent.

Scanning method and device with reduced scanning dosage

A method and a system for data compression are provided. The method may include: obtaining scanning data to be compressed; compressing the scanning data using a first compression method and a second compression method to obtain a first compressed data and a second compressed data respectively, where a compression ratio of the first compressed data is lower than a compression ratio of the second compressed data; and determining whether the compression ratio of the first compressed data meets a predetermined compression ratio requirement, if yes, determining the first compressed data as a compression result data corresponding to the scanning data, if no, determining the second compressed data as a compression result data corresponding to the scanning data. Scanning data compressed by the method or the system can meet target compression requirements.
