A method is disclosed for using a precision ultrasound scanning device to image the anterior segment of the human eye, automatically locate the scleral spur, and, using the scleral spur as a fiduciary, to automatically make measurements in front of and behind the iris. The scleral spur can be used as a fiduciary to make measurements that characterize the normal and abnormal shapes of components within this region of the anterior segment of the eye. One or more of the measurements of the iridocorneal angle and the anterior chamber depth can be related to other measurements behind the iris including the iris lens contact distance, the iris zonule distance and the trabecular ciliary process distance. Over a period of time, these measurements can change and can indicate a change, or be a precursor for a change, of intraocular pressure (IOP), and therefore can determine an earlier onset of glaucoma.

A blow dryer attachment for pets which delivers diffused warm air at an efficient temperature and coverage area and also allows hands free operation. An improved cold/hot pack for physiotherapy having a completely sealed flexible pouch (16). The cavity of the pouch is filled with a plurality of approximately pea sized or larger hollow capsules (20). The cavities of the hollow capsules are filled with cold/hot storing fluid or gel (22). Partitions prevent migration of the capsules within the pouch and a screened plug permits air to be expelled from the pouch while the capsules are retained.

A portable animal utensil having dish and water jug combined into one item. Only one item need be brought from home to satisfy the nutritional requirements of animals while away from home. The canteen has a container 4 which serves as a reservoir for water. The canteen has a wide opening providing an aperture 6 to permit access by an animal to the contents of the container and to permit filling of the container with water. A lid 10 is provided which is sized to fit the wide opening. Means are provided for removably securing the lid to the container and for creating a water tight seal 8 and 12. Rigid loops 14 are attached to opposite outer walls of the container-and are provided for the retention of a carry strap 18. This carry strap is placed over the animal owner's shoulder for transporting the utensil. The bottom of the canteen has means for removably securing the lid to the bottom of the container 20 while the animal is drinking. Securing the lid to the bottom of the container keeps the lid from getting lost and / or dirty. The upper surface of the lid is provided with high friction, non-skid means 22. When the lid is secured inverted to the bottom of the container, the high friction, non-skid means help prevent the utensil from sliding around on the floor or similar surface.
