A textured film device formed from at least one layer of gathered textured film. These devices are capable of producing excellent lather when used with a cleanser and are soft to the touch. Other textured film devices include mitts, gloves, washcloths, and the like formed from at least one layer of textured film. Also provided are systems comprised of the textured film devices and at least one active material selected from cleansers; moisturizers, conditioners; sunscreens; shaving foams; tanning agents; anti-acne agents; anti-aging agents; anti-irritant agents; perfumes/fragrances; and mixtures thereof.

Textured film devices

A solid cleanser holder comprising at least one textured film having texture variations including at least one aperture and a solid cleanser, wherein the at least one textured film surrounds the solid cleanser. The solid cleanser holders are not only gentle to the skin but also capable of reducing slip and creating superior lather. Methods of ameliorating the formation of mush on a solid cleanser are also disclosed. The method comprises enclosing a solid cleanser within a textured film having texture variations. Another embodiment relates to methods for making a solid cleanser holder. This method comprises enclosing a solid cleanser within a textured film such that the textured film surrounds the solid cleanser. Methods of cleansing and/or exfoliating the skin comprising the use of the solid cleansers described above are also disclosed.

Solid cleanser holder

A non-woven fabric having improved absorbent characteristics. The fabric has three different fiber arrays which are interconnected to produce a unique fiber distribution in the fabric.

Absorbent nonwoven fabric

Non-woven fabrics comprising yarn-like fiber groups of parallel and tightly compacted fiber segments, which define apertures in the fabric. The apertures have substantially improved clarity and the yarn-like fiber groups have increased density.

Apertured non-woven fabric

Non-woven fabrics comprising yarn-like fiber groups of parallel and tightly compacted fiber segments, which groups include fiber segments circumferentially wrapped around at least a portion of the fiber groups. The groups are interconnected at junctures by fibers common to the plurality of such groups.
