Embodiments described herein generally relate to a battery pack assembly. The battery pack assembly includes a plurality of housing segments and a plurality of battery cells. The plurality of housing segments are coupled to one another. Each one of the plurality of housing segments includes a terminal receiving portion. The terminal receiving portion has a pair of end walls, a pair of side walls and a floor. A terminal connector is positioned within the terminal receiving portion. The terminal connector has a pair of openings. Each battery cell of the plurality of battery cells has a terminal side. A pair of terminals are positioned on the terminal side of each of the plurality of battery cells. Each one of the plurality of housing segments are configured to be rotated with respect to an adjacent housing segment between a use position and a maintenance position.

Rotatable terminal plate housing assemblies and methods thereof

In one embodiment, a battery stack assembly includes a plurality of sleeves, a plurality of battery cells, and one or more retention bands. The plurality of sleeves is arranged in a stack along a common plane, each of the plurality of sleeves including a slot. The plurality of battery cells are positioned within the plurality of sleeves such that at least a portion of each battery cell is accessible when positioned within a dedicated sleeve. The one or more retention bands extend through each of the slots formed in the plurality of sleeves, wherein the one or more retention bands facilitate application of compression across the stack, and release of compression allows a chosen cell to be withdrawn from the dedicated sleeve.

Battery stack assemblies and methods for replacing a battery cell

Systems, methods and vehicles for generating cues to drivers of vehicles are disclosed. A system for generating a cue to a driver of a vehicle including at least one processor, at least one memory module communicatively coupled to the at least one processor, at least one stop (S) stored in the at least one memory module and at least one object sensor communicatively coupled to the at least one processor. When executed by the at least one processor, the machine readable instructions cause the cue generating system to detect a presence of an object in front of the vehicle, determine a cue position (P) for generating a cue based on the detected presence of the object and the stop (S), and generate the cue to a driver of the vehicle based on the first position and the cue position (P).
