The embodiments of the present invention provide a method for heartbeat packet processing by using a proxy, an apparatus, and a communications system. The method includes: receiving, by a host, a first heartbeat packet sent by a first application in a client, where the client is a terminal that accesses the host by using a short range communications technology; and determining, by the host according to the first heartbeat packet and a first preset list, whether the first application is included in the first preset list. Thus, an objective of saving power for the host and the client can be achieved.

A display control method and a terminal device are provided. The display control method is applied to a terminal device having a transmissive liquid crystal display (LCD), and a backlight side of the transmissive LCD has a mechanical structure. The method includes detecting an operating status of the terminal device, turning off the transmissive LCD of the terminal device when the terminal device is in a standby state, and controlling the transmissive LCD to be in a transparent state to display the mechanical structure on the backlight side of the transmissive LCD. Hence, the method reduces power consumption of the terminal device and retains a watch function of displaying time by the terminal device.

A method for node communication for use in a rack system is provided. The method includes providing a detecting unit for connecting to the nodes via a circuit switching device; predefining a linked list in which a limit of times for the detecting unit to communicate with each of the nodes is set; sequentially selecting one node of the nodes so that the detecting unit is connected to the one node via the circuit switching device; adding an assigned communication parameter between the detecting unit and the one node selected to the linked list, wherein a number of times of communication corresponding to the assigned communication parameter is not greater than the limit of times; and performing communication between the detecting unit and the one node selected in accordance with the assigned communication parameter in the linked list.

Method for node communication

A method for controlling a rack system including a plurality of detachable chassis, where at lease one node is disposed in the chassis and a rack management controller (RMC) is disposed in the rack system. First, at least one detecting unit connected to the RMC and the node of the chassis in the rack system is provided. Next, a status message of the chassis is detected for determining whether the status of the chassis is changed. When the status is changed, the detecting unit determines whether the node corresponding to the chassis exists in the rack system. When the node exists, the detecting unit acquires a message of a field replaceable unit (FRU) of the node. Thereafter, the detecting unit transmits the message of the FRU to the RMC. Then, the RMC determines a type of the node according to the message of the FRU.

In a first embodiment, product factors of symbol vectors and a coefficient of a shape filter are stored in a table and compressed by 8 times based on a law of a trigonometric function, wherein a method of table looking-up is used to replace a multiplication operation. In a second embodiment, all states of 8PSK modulation are stored in a table after shape filtering, and then the data of the states stored in the table are compressed based on a corresponding relationship of a law of a trigonometric function and an electrical level diversity, and then a table looking-up operation is performed. In a third embodiment, new modulated vectors are stored in a modulated phase table after simple 8PSK modulation and phase rotation, the modulated phase table is compressed by 4 times, and new modulated vectors are obtained by a table looking-up operation and data processing. Then, shape filtering is performed by utilizing a RAM coefficient filter. The 8PSK modulation methods and apparatuses are compatible with GSM systems and are capable of providing sufficient capability of data services and sufficiently extending a life cycle of prior GSM systems. It allows a service agent not only to save investment, but also to provide competitive services.
