A method of washing glassware is provided including: providing automatic dishwashing apparatus; providing soiled glassware; placing soiled glassware in automatic dishwashing apparatus; providing wash water; providing rinse water; selecting anhydrous mixed powder or mixed granule comprising: 2.5-5 wt % of oxidized maltodextrin, wherein oxidized maltodextrin has Degree of Oxidation of 0.4-1.7; 10-25 wt % of amino acid based builder; 20-75 wt % of additional builder, wherein additional builder includes at least one of sodium citrate, sodium carbonate and sodium percarbonate; 2.5-7.5 wt % of bleach activator; 0.5-10 wt % of nonionic surfactant; 0.5-1 wt % of phosphonate; 1-6 wt % of enzyme; 5-15 wt % of filler; and &#x3c;1 wt % water; placing selected anhydrous mixed powder or mixed granule in automatic dishwashing apparatus; contacting selected anhydrous mixed powder or mixed granule with wash water to form combination; contacting soiled glassware with combination to provide treated glassware; and then contacting treated glassware with rinse water to provide cleaned glassware.

Anhydrous autodish formulation

An automatic dishwashing composition is provided including a builder selected from the group consisting of carbonate, bicarbonate, citrate, silicate and mixtures thereof; a nonionic surfactant; and a dispersant polymer comprising: (a) 5 to 75 wt % of structural units of itaconic acid; (b) 10 to 85 wt % of structural units having formula I wherein each Ris independently selected from a hydrogen and a &#x2014;C(O)CHgroup; and (c) 10 to 65 wt % of structural units of (meth)acrylic acid; wherein the dispersant polymer has a lactone end group and wherein the dispersant polymer has a weight average molecular weight of 1,500 to 6,000.

Dispersant polymer for autodish formulations

The present invention relates to a process comprising the step of contacting an aqueous dispersion of swelled polymer particles with a rheology modifier and a binder to form a coatings composition with a VOC of less than 50 g/L. The swelled polymer particles arise from neutralization of alkali swellable polymer particles having a high acid core content and a low Tshell. The composition arising from the process of the present invention is useful for improving open time, especially for low VOC coatings applications.

Preparation of a coatings formulation with alkali swellable polymer particles

The present invention relates to a process for preparing a coatings composition with an open time additive comprising the steps of a) contacting an aqueous dispersion of alkali swellable polymer particles with a rheology modifier and a binder to form a coatings composition with a VOC of less than 50 g/L; and b) neutralizing the alkali swellable particles with a non-volatile base after or upon contact with the rheology modifier and the binder to form swelled multi-staged polymer particles; wherein the alkali swellable polymer particles comprise a shell having a Tof not greater than 25&#xb0; C. and an acid functionalized core; and wherein the core-to-shell ratio is in the range of from 1:3.2 to 1:10. The composition arising from the process of the present invention is useful for improving open time, especially for low VOC coatings applications.

Automatic dishwashing composition with dispersant polymer

The present invention provides nonionic surfactants, compositions incorporating these surfactants, and related methods of making and using such surfactants and compositions. The nonionic surfactants demonstrate excellent equilibrium and dynamic surface tension properties as well as excellent wetting properties. Further, representative embodiments of the surfactants have shown low foaming characteristics, indicating that the surfactants would be suitable in applications where resistance to foaming is desired. The surfactants can be used singly or in combination with other nonionic and/or ionic surfactants as desired. As an over view, the nonionic surfactants of the present invention have a structure in which the surfactant backbone includes one or more amine moieties. At least one, preferably two or more branched, cyclic, fused cyclic, and/or spyro hydrophobic moieties are pendant from at least one of the amine moieties. Additionally, at least one, preferably two or more hydrophilic moieties, preferably alkylene oxide (i.e., polyether) chains also are pendant from at least one of the amine moieties.

Nonionic surfactant compositions

An anti-collision device for a plasma vertical cutting gun including a lifting frame of a plasma cutting machine; a connection mechanism; a fixing plate of a cutting gun fixed on the connection mechanism; a concave support plate connected with the lifting frame of the plasma cutting machine; and a proximity switch mounted on the concave support plate. The connection mechanism is mounted between the lifting frame of the plasma cutting machine and the fixing plate of the cutting gun. A contact surface between the connection mechanism and the concave support plate matches. One side of a joint plane between the connection mechanism and the concave support plate is of ferromagnetic materials and the other side is provided with a magnet, thereby attracting each other to realize a magnetic connection. The anti-collision device has comprehensive functions, convenient installation, reasonable structure, and short response time in case of impact.
