A mounting apparatus includes a supporting bracket, a locking member, and a holding mechanism. The supporting bracket is fixed to a slide rail and includes two inserting pins extending through the two corresponding through holes of a rack post. The locking member is slidably mounted to the supporting bracket. When the locking member slides to abut against a front surface of the rack post, the slide rail is prevented from moving backwards to make the inserting pins disengage from the through holes. When the locking member slides to space away from the rack post, the slide rail is enable to move backwards to make the inserting pins disengage from the through holes. The holding mechanism abuts against the locking member to prevent the locking member from sliding. The holding mechanism is operable to move away from the locking member.

Mounting appratus for slide rail

A slide rail assembly includes a first rail, a second rail slidably received in the first rail, a mounting bracket fixed to the second rail, a positioning member movably mounted to the mounting bracket, and a releasing member slidably mounted to the second rail. The first rail includes a holding portion. The positioning member engages with the holding portion to prevent the second rail from sliding into or out of the first rail. By sliding the releasing member, the releasing member drives the positioning member to disengage from the holding portion of the first rail, thereby enabling the second rail to slide into or out of the first rail.

Slide rail assembly

A slide rail includes a first slide and a second slide received in the first slide. The first slide includes a first main plate and two first side parts symmetrically placed on two opposite sides of the first main plate. The second slide includes a main body, an extending body received in the main body, and a slide post. The main body includes a second main plate and two second side parts symmetrically placed on two opposite sides of the second main plate. The second main plate includes a fixed hole defined therein. The extending body includes a third main plate and two third side parts symmetrically placed on two opposite sides of the third main plate. The third main plate defines a rail therein. The slide post is passed through the rail and fixed to the fixed hole.

Slide rail

A mounting mechanism is disclosed. The mounting mechanism includes a chassis with an anchor member, a slide rail defining a mounting slot to receive the anchor member, and a retaining member slidably attached to the slide rail. A first end of the retaining member is pivotable attached to the slide rail. The retaining member comprises a stop surface and an inclined surface opposite to the stop surface formed from a second end of the retaining member. The anchor member slides in the mounting slot to drive the inclined surface of the retaining member to rotate the retaining member, when the anchor member rides over the stop portion, the retaining member is restored to make the stop surface of the stop portion retain the anchor member in the mounting slot of the slide rail.
