One example method for conducting a conference between conference participants includes obtaining a scene layout for the conference, the scene layout comprising a plurality of video areas that are each assigned to a respective display video stream from one of the conference participants, and the scene layout forming a common visual presentation for the conference; receiving video streams from one or more of the conference participants; and displaying the scene layout, wherein the video streams from the conference participants are displayed in their respective assigned video areas.

Example methods and systems for connection recommendation are provided. A communication platform provides a user hub application comprising one or more application modules corresponding to one or more user applications. The communication platform accesses user data associated with a plurality of users at the one or more user applications via the user hub application. The plurality of users includes a first user and a set of other users. The communication platform determines a connection recommendation for the first user based on the user data and provides the connection recommendation to the first user via the user hub application.

Techniques are disclosed relating to a multi-agent search client. In an example method, a search agent application receives a query. The search agent application determines, using a search agent, one or more agents to each execute a portion of the query. The search agent application outputs, to a domain agent, a portion of the query. The search agent application determines, using the domain agent, an execution step based on the portion of the query and information about an executor. The executor generates instructions based on the execution step that are configured to generate a response to the execution step and outputs a command to execute the instructions. The executor then outputs, to the first domain agent, the response to the execution step. The search agent application outputs, using the search agent, a response to the query based on the response to the execution step.

Multi-agent search client

One example system for multiple host management of videoconferencing sub-meetings includes a processor and at least one memory device. The processor establishes a main videoconferencing meeting and establishes a host of the main videoconferencing meeting. The host participates using a first host client device. The processor can receive a selection of a participant to be a co-host. The co-host participates in the main videoconferencing meeting from a second host client device. The processor receives a first sub-meeting control input from the second host client device, wherein the first sub-meeting control input identifies an action to perform with respect to a sub-meeting. The system generates a second sub-meeting control input based on the first sub-meeting control input, executes the second sub-meeting control input, and discards the first sub-meeting control input so that the sub-meeting command is associated with the main host.

Multiple host management of videoconferencing sub-meetings

Example methods and systems provide a workplace assistant application that can detect one or more received messages associated with a remote user and access multiple communication channels connected to a workplace assistant client application. Received message(s), information from the channels, and stored metadata can be submitted to one or more predictive models to provide a context for the message(s). The system can generate, using output from the predictive model(s), a response message based at least in part on the context of the received message. The system can display the response in the workplace assistant client application for acceptance or editing by the user, or transmit the response message.

One example system for providing notifications to videoconferencing sub-meetings includes a processor and at least one memory device. The processor establishes a videoconferencing session associated with a host. The videoconferencing session can include a main meeting, a sub-meeting, and a waiting queue. The processor can move the host from the main meeting to the sub-meeting, and subsequently move a new participant into the waiting queue. The processor can generate a notification that the participant has entered the waiting queue and determine that the host has moved to the sub-meeting. The processor can route, to the host in the sub-meeting using a stored connection of the host to the main meeting, a notification of the participant entering the waiting queue, and subsequently allow the host to admit the new participant.

One example method includes receiving, from a first client device, a request to join a video conference, the video conference having a main meeting, creating, in response to the request, a sub-meeting associated with the main meeting, connecting the first client device to the sub-meeting, connecting a host client device to the sub-meeting simultaneously with the host client device being connected to the main meeting, the host client device associated with a host of the main meeting, receiving first multimedia content from the first client device, and providing the first multimedia content to the host client device.

Enabling two-way communication with video conference waiting rooms

Methods and systems relate to a method for providing concurrent sharing of screen elements by multiple users within a communication session. First, a system connects multiple participants of a communication session. The system receives, from a first participant, a request to initiate sharing of one or more screen elements from a user device associated with the first participant. In response to the request, the system captures and displays the one or more screen elements from the user device of the first participant to the communication interfaces of the other participants. The system then receives, from one or more additional participants of the communication session, additional requests to initiate sharing of one or more additional screen elements. In response, the system captures and displays the additional screen elements of the additional participants to the communication interfaces of the other participants, such that multiple screen elements from multiple users are displayed concurrently.

Systems and methods for enhancing group sound during a networked conference are provided. A server computer establishes a networked conference among a plurality of computer devices. The server computer receives one or more group sound indicators from one or more computer devices of the plurality of computer devices within a selected time interval. In response to determining that the total number of the one or more computer devices corresponding to the one or more group sound indicators is equal to or greater than a selected threshold, the server computer transmits to the plurality of computer devices a control signal identifying a group sound corresponding to the one or more group sound indicators. The server computer causes the plurality of computer devices to reproduce the group sound identified in the control signal.

One example method includes transmitting a message to a first client device indicating a transition to a first sub-meeting of a webinar, the first client device connected to a main meeting of the webinar and associated with a first participant, receiving, from the first client device, a request for access information to join the first sub-meeting; transmitting the access information for the first sub-meeting to the first client device, receiving, from the first client device, a request to join the first sub-meeting, the request based on the access information for the first sub-meeting, and joining the first client device to the first sub-meeting.

Enabling breakout rooms in webinars

One disclosed example method includes a video conference provider establishing a main meeting of a video conference and multiple associated sub-meetings at the request of a host client device associated with a host of the meeting. The method further includes the video conference provider determining that a self-selection mode for the sub-meetings is enabled and transmitting notifications to participant client devices associated with the participants of the meeting. Each notification identifies a list of sub-meetings from which a participant can select a sub-meeting to join. The method further includes the video conference provider receiving and forwarding a request from a participant client device to connect to a selected sub-meeting, and receiving an automatic approval from the host client device. The video conference provider further connects the participant client device to the selected sub-meeting.

Self-select sub-meetings in videoconferencing

One example system for displaying immersive scenes includes a processor and at least one memory device. The memory device includes instructions that are executable by the processor to cause the processor to receive a plurality of video streams associated with a video conference, each of the plurality of video streams having a removable background, receive a dynamic immersive background, receive an instruction, the instruction comprising a plurality of locations within the dynamic immersive background, and display an immersive scene including at least a subset of the plurality of video streams, wherein each video stream is displayed at one of the plurality of locations within the dynamic immersive background.

One example system for providing virtual meeting room content monitoring for a host of a videoconference includes a processor and at least one memory device. The memory device includes instructions that can cause the processor to establish a videoconferencing session having a first virtual meeting room. The processor receives a control input from a host subscribed to the first virtual meeting room at a host client device. The control input indicates that the host is to monitor the meeting room content from one or more additional virtual meeting rooms. The instructions further cause the processor to, responsive to the control input from the host, cause the meeting room content of at least one of the additional virtual meeting rooms to be displayed on the host client device while the host is subscribed to the first virtual meeting room.

One example method for virtual relocation during network conferences includes joining, by a host client device, a network conference hosted by a network conference provider, the network conference including a plurality of participants connected to the network conference via respective participant client devices; requesting a first modified video stream from a first participant of the plurality of participants, receiving the first modified video stream from the first participant; selecting a location within a background for the modified video stream; and transmitting, to the participant client devices, the background and an instruction to relocate the first modified video stream based on the location within the background.

Methods and apparatus for receiving virtual relocation during a network conference. In an embodiment, a method is provided for relocating a conference participant during a network conference. The method includes receiving a first video stream having a first background, transmitting a second video stream, and receiving a request to remove a background from the second video stream. The method also includes removing the background from the second video stream to generate a modified video stream and transmitting the modified video stream. The method also includes receiving an instruction for relocating the modified video stream within the first background and relocating the modified video stream within the first background based on the instruction.
