An electric machine (), particularly used as an electric motor, has a rotor () comprising a plurality of disks (). A disk () of the rotor () is divided in a circumferential direction () into a plurality of disk sectors () between which magnetic pockets () are designed. Such a connecting member () comprises a main web (), a side arm () branching off the main rib () in the circumferential direction (), and a side arm () branching off the main web () opposite to the circumferential direction (). High mechanical stability of the disk () can thus be ensured, wherein magnetic flow losses are reduced.
