The present disclosure provides a semiconductor sensing device. The semiconductor sensing device includes a substrate having a sensing region. The sensing region includes an active feature. The active feature includes an anchor portion, an elevated portion, and a nanowire portion. The anchor portion is on a top surface of the substrate. The elevated portion is spaced from the top surface of the substrate by a vertical distance and connected to the anchor portion. The nanowire portion is on the top surface of the substrate and connected to the anchor portion. The vertical distance is greater than or equal to a thickness of the nanowire portion.

Method for multi-level etch, semiconductor sensing device, and method for manufacturing semiconductor sensing device

Present disclosure provides a method for multi-level etch. The method includes providing a substrate, forming a first reference feature over a control region of the substrate, forming an etchable layer over the first reference feature and a target region over the substrate, patterning a masking layer over the etchable layer, the masking layer having a first opening projecting over the control region and a second opening projecting over the target region, and removing a portion of the etchable layer through the first opening and the second opening until the first reference feature is reached. A semiconductor sensing device manufactured by the multi-level etch is also disclosed.

A DC-DC converter with auto-switching between pulse width modulation (PWM) and pulse frequency modulation (PFM) is used in an organic light emitting diode (OLED) display and judges power consumption of an OLED array of the display according to display data of the display and thus determines a switching time between PWM and PFM. The converter comprises a content statistic unit, an auto-switching control unit, a PWM controller, a PFM controller and a power generator. The content statistic unit receives and accumulates the display data of the OLED display and then outputs a statistic value. The auto-switching control unit outputs a control signal according to the statistic value to control the PWM controller and the PFM controller and to switch to a PWM mode or a PFM mode.

A capacitive touch panel has a plurality of first conductor lines and a plurality of second conductor lines. The first conductor lines are disposed in a first direction for sensing a contact with an object. The second conductor lines are disposed in a second direction to be intersected insulatively with the first conductor lines so as to define an overlapping region at each intersection of a first conductor line and a second conductor line. As a driving signal is applied to one of the second conductor lines, the overlapping region defined at the intersection forms a capacitance. Each of the first conductor lines defines at least one opening in each of the overlapping regions.
