A method of pairing a cubic LiLaZrO(c-LLZO) based solid-state electrolyte film/membrane and lithium metal, with a metal oxide interface between the film/membrane and lithium metal, wherein the metal oxide is LaO, CuO, ZrO, HfO, or any combination thereof. A method of pairing a c-LLZO based solid-state electrolyte film/membrane and lithium metal comprises treating the film/membrane with a gas plasma before applying metal lithium. An integrated combination of a solid-state electrolyte and a metal anode comprises a c-LLZO based solid-state electrolyte film/membrane with a thickness of about 5-50 μm, a metal anode integrated on the solid-state electrolyte film/membrane, and a metal oxide interface between the film/membrane and lithium metal, wherein the metal oxide is LaO, CuO, ZrO, HfO, or any combination thereof, and the metal anode is lithium metal with a thickness of 5-50 μm.

A novel and environmentally preferable method is provided for preparing solid electrolyte particles capable of making dense, flexible, Liconducting electrolyte thin films. Methods are also provided for using the solid electrolyte particles and/or thin films in manufacturing safer and more efficient lithium-based batteries. In particular, the method uses inorganic precursors instead of using organic precursors in preparing an aerosol and then convert the aerosol to solid powders to provide the solid electrolyte particles. The solid electrolyte particles prepared have a cubic polymorph and have a desired particle size range, and are capable of making a solid electrolyte film with a thickness less than 50 &#x3bc;m.

A method, a system, and a computer program product for applying a white balance correction to an image data captured by a camera sensor based on a current level of ambient color. The method includes capturing, via a camera sensor, image data of a scene. The method further includes contemporaneously measuring, via a light color sensor, an amount of ambient color. The method further includes calculating a determinant value that represents a magnitude of variance of colors in the scene. The method further includes in response to determining the determinant value is less than a determinant threshold: generating a white balance correction based at least in part on the measured amount of ambient color and applying the white balance correction to the image data to generate a corrected image data having colors that more accurately represent colors in the current scene.

Using a light color sensor to improve a representation of colors in captured image data

A method, system, and computer program product for applying a perceptually uniform color space to image color values within a captured image data. The method includes identifying, via a processor of an image capturing device, a perceptually uniform color space that includes only real colors identified within a plurality of real-world images. The method further includes applying, via the processor, the perceptually uniform color space to a color processing stage of an image processing pipeline. The method further includes in response to receiving, at the image capturing device, image data including image color values associated with a primary color space, converting, via the processor, the image color values to the perceptually uniform color space to generate image data having more perceptual uniformity for colors that are frequent in the real world.
