A medical analysis system, includes at least one catheter to be inserted into a body-part having a tissue surface, and comprising sensing electrodes to contact and receive electrical signals from the tissue surface, and processing circuitry to receive unipolar signals from individual ones of the plurality of the sensing electrodes, compute a combined far-field and mid-field signal based on summing and filtering ones of the received unipolar signals received from at least a pair of sensing electrodes disposed around a point of interest, compute a far-field signal as a weighted average of the received unipolar signals, weighted according to respective distances of the sensing electrodes from the point of interest, and compute and output a mid-field signal, representative of electrical activity below the tissue surface at the point of interest, based on subtracting the computed far-field signal from the computed combined far-field and mid-field signal.

A system includes a balloon catheter having a shaft, an inflatable balloon fitted at a distal end of the shaft, and multiple electrodes disposed on the inflatable balloon, a display, and a processor configured to receive signals that are indicative of respective electrode positions of the multiple electrodes in 3D space, compute the respective electrode positions of the multiple electrodes based on the received signals, from among a plurality of virtual planes defined by different respective groups of the electrode positions, select a virtual plane that contains a maximum number of the electrode positions to within a given tolerance, fit a virtual circle to the electrode positions that are within the given tolerance of the selected virtual plane, and render to the display a 3D representation of the balloon catheter based on a position and orientation of the fitted virtual circle in 3D space.

Various embodiments for managing production data are described herein. In one example of a method for managing production data, the method can include allocating, via a processor, a first storage area to store production data for an external computing device. The method can also include receiving a write request comprising production data to be stored in the first storage area. In addition, the method can include detecting that the first storage area does not have available space to store the production data and allocating, via a processor, a second storage area to store the production data. Furthermore, the method can include transferring, via a processor, production data stored in the first storage area to a backup device.
