A method for treating vascular diseases is provided. The method includes fabricating a sterile ice slurry including water and ice particles, cooling the sterile ice slurry to a predetermined temperature, and injecting the sterile ice slurry into a desired tissue region. A treatment system can include a channel generation system configured to expose an infected region of a target tissue with a laser beam traveling along an optical axis and focused at a focal volume located in or adjacent to the target tissue. The laser beam can have a wavelength ranging from about 100 nm to about 400 nm. The laser beam can be configured to generate at least a first channel in the infected region. The treatment system can also include a detection system configured to detect a first radiation generated by one or more of (i) the target tissue, (ii) a fungi coupled to the infected region in the target tissue, and (iii) an adjacent tissue located proximal to the target tissue as a result of interaction with the laser beam. The treatment system can also include a delivery system configured to deposit an active treatment agent in the at least first channel.

Therapeutic laser system and method

Systems and methods for a laser-assisted topical treatment of nail fungal infections are provided. The laser-assisted topical treatment includes a laser that is configured to output a beam that penetrates the infected nail and creates a channel therethrough. The laser-assisted topical treatment further includes a treatment agent comprising a vehicle and a drug. The treatment agent is applied to an exterior surface of the infected nail so that the treatment agent may flow into the channel.

Systems and methods for laser-assisted topical treatment of nail fungal infections

The present disclosure is directed to systems and methods that removing exogenous particles from a target region of the skin of a patient. The systems and methods can employ dermal lavage to remove the exogenous particles from the target region. In some instances, the exogenous particles can be residual tattoo ink after a tattoo removal process. A conduit can be sized and dimensioned for insertion into or around the target region to inject an irrigation fluid that defines an irrigation area. The exogenous particles can be suspended in the irrigation fluid. A device can be configured to form one or more channels in the irrigation area so that the exogenous particles are removable from the irrigation area.
