A hub assembly for a robotically driven interventional device can include an interventional device hub having an interventional device and at least one magnet. The hub assembly can be configured to be positioned on a sterile side of a sterile field barrier and magnetically couple to a hub adapter on a non-sterile side of the sterile field barrier so that hub assembly moves axially in response to axial movement of the hub adapter and the at least one magnet of the hub assembly rotates in response to rotation of at least one magnet of the hub adapter.

A method of performing a neurovascular procedure includes providing an assembly including a guidewire having a guidewire hub, an access catheter having an access catheter hub, and a guide catheter having a guide catheter hub. The method includes coupling the guidewire hub to a first hub adapter, coupling the access catheter hub to a second hub adapter, and coupling the guide catheter hub to a third hub adapter. Each of the first hub adapter, the second hub adapter and the third hub adapter is movably carried by a support table. The method includes driving the assembly in response to movement of each of the first hub adapter, the second hub adapter and the third hub adapter along the support table until the assembly is positioned to achieve supra-aortic vessel access.

Method of performing a multi catheter robotic neurovascular procedure

A method of priming an interventional device assembly includes providing the interventional device assembly including a first interventional device coupled to a first hub and a second interventional device coupled to a second hub arranged in a concentric stack, the second interventional device being positioned within a lumen of the first interventional device. The method includes coupling the interventional device assembly to a drive system while arranged in the concentric stack, axially advancing the first interventional device and the first hub relative to the second hub to decrease a depth of insertion of the second interventional device within the lumen of the first interventional device while maintaining a distal end of the second interventional device within the lumen of the first interventional device, and flushing the first interventional device with fluid after decreasing the depth of insertion of the second interventional device within the lumen of the first interventional device.

Systems and methods for remotely monitoring blood flow that include an endovascular prosthesis. The endovascular prosthesis includes a conduit forming a lumen within a surrounding wall having an inner surface and an outer surface. A monitoring device is disposed on the wall forming the lumen. The monitoring device comprises a sensor element configured to detect a physical event and to generate an electrical parameter shift in response to the physical event. An antenna portion is configured to receive a first oscillating electrical signal from an interrogator device and to transmit a second oscillating electrical signal to the interrogator device. The second oscillating electrical signal is modulated by the electrical parameter shift.

System and method for measuring blood flow parameters in a blood vessel having an endovascular prosthesis

The invention is a stent-graft device having a support component with multiple turns of an undulating member where the undulations have a number of apexes. The graft component of the device is substantially coaxial with the support component and is attached to the support component so as to allow a number of the support component's apexes to move relative to the graft.

Exterior supported self-expanding stent-graft

A stent-graft including a stent member having an inner surface and an outer surface, a generally tubular graft member and a coupling member that couples the stent member to the graft member. The coupling member, which is the preferred embodiment is in the form of a ribbon, covers only a portion of the inner or outer surface of the stent member and secures the stent member and graft member to one another. Alternatively, the coupling member can be described as interconnecting less than entirely the inner or outer surface of the graft member to the stent member. With this construction, regions of the stent member do not interfere with the coupling member. Shear stresses between the stent member and the coupling member and the risk of tearing the graft or coupling member or delamination therebetween may be reduced as compared to a fully enveloped stent member. This construction also provides improved flexibility and kink resistance.

A cardiac harness for treating or preventing congestive heart failure is configured to be placed about at least a portion of a patient's heart so as to apply a mild compressive force on the heart. In one embodiment, the cardiac harness comprises a plurality of spaced apart conductive panels arranged so that there is no electrical continuity circumferentially around the harness. In an additional embodiment, a cardiac harness is provided that is insulated so as not to conduct electricity circumferentially about the harness.

A cardiac harness for treating or preventing congestive heart failure is configured to be placed about at least a portion of a patient's heart so as to apply a mild compressive force on the heart. In one embodiment, the cardiac harness is configured so that the variation of load as a function of expansion through a selected range of expansion is represented generally in the form y=ax+b, and the value of 'a' does not increase as the percent expansion increases.

The invention consists of an endoluminal prosthesis adapted for placement at a bifurcation site within the body. The stent or stent-graft may be constructed to have segments of differing structural properties. A section of the stent-graft may be constructed to have a single-lumen tubular stent member covering a multilumen graft member. The stent-graft may comprise at least two modular components adapted for in situ assembly. An extended cylindrical interference fit may be used to seal the modular components.

Kink-resistant bifurcated prosthesis

The apparatus includes and elongate body having a proximal portion and a distal portion. The body includes a cavity sized to contain a cardiac harness in a compacted configuration and also includes a plurality of elongate push rods movable with respect to the body. The cardiac harness is releasably connected to each of the push rods such that advancement of the push rods in a distal direction moves the harness from a compacted configuration, within the cavity, to an expanded configuration, outside the cavity. The apparatus also includes a releasing member for releasing the connections between the push rods and the harness upon actuation of the releasing member by a user.
