A display substrate and a manufacturing method thereof are disclosed. The display substrate is divided to have a non-pixel region and a color pixel region. The manufacturing method includes: forming a thin film transistor (TFT) on a base substrate in the non-pixel region; forming a passivation layer on the TFT; forming a color filter on the passivation layer in the color Pixel region; forming a planarization layer on the passivation layer and the color filter; thinning a thickness of a portion of the planarization layer located in the color pixel region; and forming a display electrode on the planarization layer and connecting the display electrode to a drain electrode of the TFT through a via hole.

Display substrate and manufacturing method thereof

A reflection type display device and a display apparatus are provided. The reflection type display device includes: an upper transparent substrate, a lower substrate, and a display unit provided between the upper transparent substrate and the lower substrate. The display unit includes an electrode, a refractive deformation member and a black absorption layer. The refractive deformation member is configured to deform under control of the electrode to switch between a first state and a second state. In the first state, incident light through the upper transparent substrate is totally reflected by the refractive deformation member to form a bright state; and in the second state, incident light passes through the refractive deformation member and is absorbed by the black absorption layer to form a dark state.

Reflection type display device and display apparatus

The present application discloses a liquid crystal lens. The liquid crystal lens comprises: a first electrode; a second electrode; a liquid crystal layer located between the first and the second electrode; a third electrode, located at a side of the first electrode away from the liquid crystal layer; and a driving means. The driving means is configured to: in a 3D display mode, apply voltages to the first and the second electrode to generate an electric field, such that liquid crystal molecules in the liquid crystal layer are deflected to a first state and form a plurality of lens units, and when switching from the 3D display mode to a 2D display mode, apply voltages to the first and the third electrode to generate an electric field, such that the liquid crystal molecules in the liquid crystal layer are deflected to a second state and form no lens unit.

The present invention provides a rearview mirror comprising a panel and a control circuit, a first substrate in the panel is provided with a planar transparent electrode layer, a second substrate is provided with a transparent hydrophobic material layer and multiple block electrodes, a side of the transparent hydrophobic material layer facing the first substrate is provided with multiple cells, lightproof electro-wetting ink is provided within each cell, the block electrodes are provided on a side of the transparent hydrophobic material layer away from the first substrate and can at least reflect part of light entering the rearview mirror from first substrate side, the control circuit is configured to control area of each cell covered by the electro-wetting ink in the cell by controlling a change in intensity of the electric field between the planar transparent electrode layer and the block electrodes.
