A computer-implemented system for selecting a workflow path of a project is provided. The system includes an initial phase, an evaluation phase, a completion phase, and a criteria engine. The evaluation phase of the project includes a plurality of workflow paths for the project based on criteria of the project. Each of the plurality of paths include one or more steps of the evaluation phase. The criteria engine is operable to evaluate project criteria of the project at one or more steps in the evaluation phase and route the project to at least another step in the evaluation phase based on the project criteria.

A computer-implemented system for managing contracts for projects is provided. The system consists of a data store and an analysis component. The data store can maintain information related to a project including an original contract defining at least some aspects of the project. The data store can also maintain information for a plurality of interim contracts that include a change to the original contract. The information for the plurality of interim contracts can include resource information, date information, financial information, and variance information. The variance information is related to the change between one of the interim contracts and the original contract. The analysis component identifies the variance between the original contract and one or more of the interim contracts.

System and method for project contract management

A method for access control is provided. A request is received from an administrator to modify a user role for a user. Whether the user is in a user group that belongs exclusively to the administrator is determined. Whether the administrator role permits the request is determined in response to a determination that the user is in the user group. The user role is modified based on the request in response to a determination that the administrator role permits the request, wherein the user accesses a resource based on the user role.

A method and system for assigning a role within an enterprise. The method and system can include a requester selecting a role to which he wishes to be assigned, selecting an administrator authorized to grant the selected role, and submitting a request for the selected role to the selected administrator. The administrator can then approve or deny the request. These actions can be done in a web-based computer program. The selection of the role or the administrator can be made from a list of one or more roles or administrators available to the requester. The submittal of the request can be done by the interaction of the web-based computer program with an e-mail program. Records of the submittal of the request and of the approval or denial of the request can be maintained in an archive data store coupled to the web-based computer program.

Web-based system and method for user role assignment in an enterprise

One embodiment of the present invention provides a method for testing and monitoring software applications such as naming services, messaging services, publish/subscribe services, authentication/authorization services, transaction services, and the like. The method involves testing multiple elements of the application so as to ease trouble-shooting in the event of failure of some element of the application. A preferred embodiment also gathers performance statistics which can prove useful in analyzing loads and efficiencies of various applications and processes or elements within an application.

Method and software for testing and performance monitoring

A preferred embodiment of the present invention provides an automated, integrated environment for simultaneously monitoring multiple aspects of the performance of computing systems operating under multiple platforms. Modular monitoring programs exist within the invention that individually test the performance of heterogeneous computing systems such as web-based devices and client/server devices. The preferred embodiment presents the user with an integrated interface for all devices being monitored. Regardless of whether a web-based system, a client/server system, or some other type of configuration is being tested, all control functions and displays of test data are accessed through the same set of screens. Also, the preferred embodiment performs not only failure testing but also performance monitoring. In addition, one embodiment provides error notification and error logging capabilities. If an error occurs, the appropriate party is automatically notified by pager, e-mail, or some other electronic messaging system.
