Disclosed is a method of manufacturing a nano metal wire, including: putting a metal precursor solution in a core pipe of a needle; putting a polymer solution in a shell pipe of the needle, wherein the shell pipe surrounds the core pipe; applying a voltage to the needle while simultaneously jetting the metal precursor solution and the polymer solution to form a nano line on a collector, wherein the nano line includes a metal precursor wire surrounded by a polymer tube; chemically reducing the metal precursor wire of the nano line to form a nano line of metal wire surrounded by the polymer tube; and washing out the polymer tube by a solvent.

Method of manufacturing a nano metal wire

Disclosed is a method for preparing silver nanowire. The method includes: providing a first solution and a second solution; mixing the first solution and the second solution to obtain a third solution including a plurality of silver nanowires; and performing a purification procedure on the third solution to obtain the silver nanowires. Particularly, the first solution includes a capping agent dispersed in a first alcohol solvent, and the second solution includes a silver salt and a metal precursor dispersed in a second alcohol solvent, wherein the metal precursor has a formula:MXor MX.m(HO)

The invention relates to the herbal extract having anti-viral activity. More specifically, it relates to the herbal extract produced by extracting the comminuted Fructus Ligustri Lucidi (privet fruit), Rhizoma Polygonati (sealwort), Herba Agrimoniae (agrimonia), Radix Rehmanniae Glutinosae Conquitae (steamed glutinous rehmannia) or the mixture thereof, with a low polar solvent, and to the method for in vitro antagonizing virus by contacting the herbal extract with viruses.

A method for preparing a nylon 6 copolymer containing dimeric acid comonomers. The method includes reacting 80.0&tilde;99.9 mol % of caprolactam, 0.1&tilde;3.0 mol % of dimeric acid and 0.1&tilde;3.0 mol % of 2-methyl-1,5-pentadiamine in a polymerization reaction. Moreover, the invention provides a method for preparing a nylon 66 copolymer containing dimeric acid comonomers, which comprising reacting 60.0&tilde;90 mol % of hexadiacid and hexadiamine, 0.1&tilde;3.0 mol % of dimeric acid and 0.1-3.0 mol % of 2-methyl-1,5-pentadiamine in a polymerization reaction. The reaction temperature for both of the methods are at 200&tilde;280&deg; C.

Nylon copolymers containing dimeric acid comonomers

A method for preparing nylon 6 copolymer containing 5-sulfoisophthalate salts comonomer. The method includes the steps of reacting 5-sulfoisophthalate salts ester with aliphatic diamine in a molar ratio of 2&tilde;20 at 160&tilde;200&deg; C., followed by completely removing the unreacted aliphatic diamine, to obtain the intermediate compound with terminal amine, 5-sulfobenzenediamide compound (formula III). Next, caprolactam and aliphatic diacid (formula IV) are reacted at 200&tilde;260&deg; C. to form an oligomer with a low molecular weight. 5-Sulfobenzenediamide (formula III) and catalyst are then added into the oligomer obtained in previous step to cause a polymerization reaction at 200&tilde;280&deg; C. to obtain nylon 6 copolymer containing 5-sulfoisophthalate salt comonomer. The molar ratio of E/C is 0.005&tilde;0.150 and the molar ratio of D/E is 1.05-1.00. Compounds present in the water extract are greatly reduced.

Method for preparing nylon 6 copolymer containing sulfonate comonomers

A wholly aromatic polyamide fiber containing above about 600 ppm (about 0.2 mole percent) of sulfonate in the polymer main chain is provided. The sulfonate is represented by the general formulas (III) or (IV): ##STR1## where M is hydrogen, a metal cation, or a quaternary ammonium ion. The fiber exhibits excellent dyeability and can be cation-dyed without the use of a dye carrier.

Wholly aromatic polyamide fiber with improved dyeability

Soluble wholly aromatic polyamide is obtained by low-temperature polycondensation in an amide solvent such as N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone. The reaction mixture is neutralized with an alkali and spun into fibers by wet spinning, coagulated in a salt-free aqueous solution of an organic solvent, preferably the polymerization solvent, and subsequently drawn in another aqueous solution of the same organic solvent, both solutions being substantially at ambient temperatures below 50.degree. C. but above freezing, More than 60% of the total fiber drawing is executed in this low-temperature draw stage.

Process for preparing fibers of soluble wholly aromatic polyamides

A process for producing high tenacity and high modulus polyethylene fiber gel spinning. Cycloalkane and cycloalkene are selected as solvents for dissolving ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, and a volatile solvent such as cyclohexanone or a mixture thereof is selected as an extracting solvent. The present process allows the extracted fibers to be stretched directly after the spinning step without requiring an intermediate winding step. The resulting fibers from the present invention have a tenacity greater than 15 g/d, a modulus greater than 350 g/d, an elongation at break less than 10%, and a crystallinity greater than 60%.
